Week of May 26th – June 1st, 2014
The forecast from Stargazing Central for this week is mostly calm. Sunny, with a few clouds! A social New Moon in Gemini balances out Mercury changing signs from Aries into her natural sign of Taurus. The highlight is Wednesday – when the new Moon forms an easygoing trine with Mars in Libra that makes all sorts of everyday activities and work communications a breeze. This energy provides the right footing to begin anew in areas like sales, marketing, learning some new techniques and skills as well as with roommates, neighbors, siblings, and your oldest son. Because your head may be in the clouds as summer begins in the Northern Hemisphere, it is necessary to keep your feet on the ground! Don’t give up this chance to take your career to a whole new level! With such positive, productive energies, now is the perfect time to review your career strengths. Discover what types of jobs are a good fit for you. Should you be a manager, or focus on being the best team member in the group? There’s no time like the present to start down a new career path.
Good luck doesn’t just happen! It’s not just about being in the right place at the right time. After all, you know what they say: “Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” So, if you have the right tools to make it happen, your opportunity is NOW!
This is the New Moon where you take on a wide variety of short, quick projects. It is the moon where you improve your communications skills and open to new ideas. Do tend to important communications, car and computer repairs, travel or vacation arrangements, etc. as Mercury is slowing down to turn retrograde on June 7th.
Because there is not a lot of grounded energy right now, know that all your great ideas will not come to pass (but a select few will manifest). That includes well-intentioned promises from others. Expect some cancellations and delays. Be open to all the new ideas, but allow time to determine which are for real and which are lost in imagination land. With meditation, The way-shower star, Mercury will help make your direction clear if you open to higher guidance. This New Moon makes a challenging square relationship to visionary Neptune as well. That means that you are stimulated to open your creativity and intuitive vision, but must recognize the difference between fantasy thinking and that which is ready to be birthed into the world.
A Cancer moon and happy planetary aspects on Friday and Saturday supports sharing and harmony. Friday is the more social day, and don’t overspend on Saturday.
A peek into June: The next Mercury retrograde starts June 7th- July 1st in Cancer and Gemini. Feelings can get hurt in the emotional sign of the Crab, and communication can be emotional at best and defensive at worse. It’s time to get your emotions and intellect working on the same page.
