Stargazing – Week of May 24th through May 30th, 2021

May 24, 2021 | Stargazing

The Full Moon on Wednesday May 26th, is a lunar eclipse and the biggest Super Moon of the year at 6 degrees Sagittarius. This Full Moon is challenged by travel-planet Jupiter who also happens to be the ruler of Sagittarius. This is a lunar T square eclipse with the Moon opposing the Sun in Gemini while squaring Jupiter in Pisces. This energy gives a challenging aspect in the judgmental sense of a religious zealot.

Get ready for outraged mobs to go on cancel – culture rampages. It may be best to stay off of social media for a few days before posting anything controversial or something with an edgy sense of humor. Luckily, the Moon is sextile to Saturn, which can offer some stability, even though it’s retrograde, if you simply stay out of the fray.

The most likely interpretation of this energy is that people want to travel again, but there continues to be challenges associated with it. There are a lot of planets in adaptable signs now, so travel within reason, be flexible, and allow for a schedule that can change on you.

The challenge is to expand your belief system to open to new ways of thinking in order to better manifest your dreams and goals. Be willing to step out of your comfort zone, but understand that there will be factors competing for your attention

Things don’t get any better on Thursday, due to the T square between Venus, Neptune, and the Moon. Take a nap on Thursday afternoon when Venus’ challenges dreamy Neptune. To say that people are susceptible to easily hurt feelings now is a massive understatement. Know the difference between daydreaming fantasy and grounded reality. Misunderstandings abound with everyone projecting and reading into things, so put off heavy conversations and emotional concerns to another day.

Confusion returns in the late afternoon when Mercury turns retrograde until June 22nd, so keep plans flexible. Mercury will be retrograde in Gemini, and the next several weeks support exploring new ideas and new places to learn from or live. As with all Mercury retrogrades, hold off on concrete decisions until late June or July.

The USA Memorial Day holiday is celebrated on Sunday and Monday under a social Aquarius Moon. Physical Mars makes harmony to spiritual Neptune on both days, so take a meditative walk near water. Enjoy your holiday as summer officially opens for the season.
