STARGAZING—Week of February 13th through February 19th, 2017

Feb 11, 2017 | Monthly Astrology|Stargazing

This week puts us betwixt and between two powerful eclipses. During the two weeks between eclipses, it is always good to take some introspective time. The moon continues in productive Virgo on Monday morning. Accomplish something that you can look at and feel good about. It can be as simple as cleaning the house, organizing something, finishing up a project, or reducing clutter.

To ease tensions a bit, the week also brings us Valentine’s Day to warm the heart and remind us of the good things in life. Chocolates and Valentines anyone? Complications could arise on Love Day because Uranus in Aries presents a “Me first” mindset, meaning you may not meet your expectations. (But we all know about expectations anyway.)

The Moon then moves into the relationship sign, Libra, on the 14th. This isn’t a particularly potent day for the day of romance, but it is pleasant. Libra likes nice things. You don’t need to blow the budget, but don’t be cheap with your loved one.

The remainder of the workweek flows smoothly where you can get into your work groove and just do what you do easily.

Saturday is daring and bold as the Moon moves into adventurous Sagittarius and the Sun moves into Pisces for the coming month. This square brings action. Pisces is generally soft, gentle, and sensitive.

It appreciates the arts. charity work, and random acts of kindness. It’s the nursing area of the zodiac. Pisces also rules the film industry, so a movie that either stimulates you philosophically, or visually through scenes of waterfalls in the great outdoors, or combines romance and action fit this Sagittarius-Pisces pairing.

On the dark side, Pisces rules drugs, alcohol, obsessions and addictions. Both behaviors will be apparent in the world news over the next few weeks. However, the truth and/or a healing may come to us when the Sun has its annual meet-up with Neptune on March 8th. This time leading up to that can also be a time of magic and medical breakthroughs.
