Two positive fire trines and a Full Moon in Gemini make this a week to dream about.
The Sagittarius Sun starts things off with a bang when it makes its second trine to fiery Uranus on Monday, December 12th. Even though Uranus is in Aries, retrograde, this combination can still shake things up, but the harmony of this trine promises a gift in the end.
Then the Gemini Full Moon is on Tuesday December 13th and is our last Full Moon of the year. Because it is a Supermoon, it is expected to be bigger and brighter than usual.
Normally, this is a full moon for parties and social activity, especially with the holidays in sight. However, restrictive Saturn is tied into this full moon as is wounded-healer Chiron. On one level, you open to higher philosophical ideas and share with others in a light-hearted way. On another level, Saturn brings a certain seriousness to conversations, seeking to bring higher thoughts into the world in a way that actually works.
If a Full Moon means endings and conclusions, then this one is endings times two. It brings an unmistakable message that the finale is upon us.
People can be optimistic one moment and pessimistic the next. Utopian ideals get a taste of enlightened ideas but Saturnian patience is required with the world as it is today.
Add a challenge from wounded healer Chiron into the mix, and you can create half-step solutions to problems and goals. If you are a Sagittarian, you may feel caught between worlds; the more idealistic world of Sagittarius and Gemini, and the work of “get it done” world of Saturn.
Take the meditation time to be in harmony with the timing of the Universe rather than the speed you think the Universe should be going. Remember, it is a fun Full Moon. Get out and share with people but as you socialize, know there will be a mixture of joyful and serious topics of conversation. Many people are feeling wounded from the nasty election process, and there’s still more to come next week on that matter. Listen and let them share their fears of the future, but don’t dwell on it. Sagittarius and Gemini are positive-thinking signs, but Saturn often sees the negative and fearful side of life. Also be certain to tend to details and double check communications now, because Mercury begins its retrograde cycle on the Monday, 19th.
The Moon in Cancer on Wednesday and Thursday most likely has you staying close to home, or going to dinner with your inner circle of family and friends. The Moon is in Leo for the weekend which is great for shopping, fun, play, and social activities. Saturday is the stronger party day with happy, emotional moon aspects all day.
Keep life simple on Sunday, preparing for an unpredictable, busy week ahead. During the early hours of Monday morning, Mars moves into psychic Pisces until January 27th and Mercury turns retrograde in Capricorn, moving back into Sagittarius, until January 8th.
Mars in Pisces is not a comfortable combination, but it is not bad. On one level, you look at your higher vision and determine what actions need to be taken to accomplish that higher vision. But it can also be a sleepy, dreamy combination where you are allow others to make the decisions over the Holidays, and are not motivated in any big way. Bring out your spiritual warrior for the next several weeks in order to take on a higher vibration, project, or goal. With Mercury retrograde, doing behind the scenes planning is always best.
It’s time to gather together, be grateful for our blessings, and wind things down to try to bring 2016 to a harmonious close.
