There’s a bit of a chill in the air this week. The high energy of last week takes a nosedive with a bit of a warning as well. In spite of all that, it looks like you will be able to end the week on a cheery note.
Monday brings minor challenges, mostly associated with needing to move faster in the world while experiencing emotional resistance. Like completing your Income tax filing in the US.
On Tuesday the 14th Mercury whirls out of Aries and lands in grounded Taurus. This change means that communications, travel and commerce will slow down to a less exciting but more thorough pace, bringing order and regularity. This is how ideas and projects are nurtured and begin to grow and manifest. There are challenges to the planet Saturn, the astrological ruler of taxes. It will be interesting to see if there are a lot of last minute people delaying filing their taxes this year, or at the very least, making a last-minute, fast and furious effort. Careful, this is how mistakes are made. Best to slow down or file an extension.
Pluto turns retrograde in Capricorn on Thursday the 16th, and continues moving backward until September. This is the time when the dragon sleeps, giving you the time to review your life, dig down deep and identify all people, projects, living space, or work that has passed it expiration date. If you proceed to listen to the Universe and get rid of anything that is no longer useful or viable in your life over the next five months, you’ll be set to welcome the new energy when Pluto moves forward in September.
Expect things to get out of hand on Friday, when feisty Mars squares off with Jupiter. This is a fight that knows no limits because the loud, action paced combination of Mars in Taurus gets mixed up with out-of-bounds Jupiter in Leo, unleashing a Bull in the china shop. Odds are good you will not feel like working Friday afternoon; or if you do, you will be working with people who do not want to be there. Best to get physical on Friday – exercise, dance, move your body and don’t allow yourself to steep in anger or frustration. Avoid forcing any issues, even if you are right, as others will push back hard, regardless of the logic.
If you can find a way for the Bull to make peace with the Lion, you’ll be in good shape to meet the positive New Moon in Aries on the 18th. This New Moon is the beginning of a new era, as well as a two-week period for launching a new business or product, making a discovery, or beginning a new relationship.
In the days that follow the New Moon, you can put action to your ideas, become centered in your personal power and transform your world. The only thing to watch out for is the money planet Venus challenging Neptune, the planet of illusions. Avoid get rich quick schemes that seem too good to be true. The same can be said for new relationships that seem too good to be true. Take it all slow and give it time, like a garden, to grow and bear fruit. Then you can enjoy the harvest in the Fall months!
