Week of May 11th – May 18th, 2014
The sky is so busy this week you might not know which energy is affecting you or when. However, the week promises to be a rather quiet one. Venus is now in fiery Aries. There may be tension in your love life because you want what you want, but you can’t seem to get it. This week be sure to keep a tight grip on your money as well as your heart.
As this week opens, Mercury will square off with Neptune. This is the most significant red flag aspect for communication matters. Information is nebulous, at best, and deceptive at worst. Your mind is prone to fantasy and idealization, and you might want to believe in something so much that you ignore the whispers of your rational mind. Avoid signing contracts or making major decisions until after the 19th!
Communication energy lightens up on Monday. You’ll think quickly and feel ready to act on your thoughts. Resist the temptatio and wait until later in the week. The Taurus Sun loves simplicity but this opposition from the Full Moon in intense Scorpio on May 14, requires a deeper look at self-worth issues. This is a time for completions, when it’s best to wrap up projects and finalize deals. It’s also a time to find balance between that which you need to let go of while holding on tightly to your status quo security blanket. The time is coming for you to work hard and make your dreams come true. Serious Saturn’s conjunction to the Moon adds a layer of responsibility and, perhaps, doubt and delays. These are most likely to come up around resources, especially money, but relationships are also subject to close scrutiny. Knowing what you need and what you’re willing to give up to get it is a key to using this revelatory energy.
Wednesday brings a day of emotional reckoning. An emotionally severe Full Moon in Scorpio will link up closely to karmic Saturn. Letting go of a deep dark secret or personal demon is called for, but Saturn demands you make sure you’ve learned the lesson you are meant to learn relating to this situation first. Emotions will be intense, that’s for sure! Perhaps you need to let go of one of your more obsessive love tendencies so it will no longer eat you alive? Or, if there are unsavory financial happenings in your life, it’s possible you’ll have to pay the piper now.
There is a lot going on in May, so practice healthy boundaries with your time and commitments. As this full moon lines up with Saturn in Scorpio, you continue the ongoing process of eliminating that which you no longer value. However, there is a triple helpful planetary pattern called a Grand Water Trine going on all month, and is especially strong now. Scorpio, Pisces and Cancer all represent the deep emotional and spiritual part of your nature. You can get extra help from the Universe now by opening to the divine feminine side of you. Because the motivating Grand Cross from April is still in play, you must create the time for this softer side to come out. The action and force oriented Cardinal signs are all pushing for immediate action, while this softer water element side is asking you to work patiently with the natural forces of the Universe. There are sudden and unexpected opportunities to meet new friends or prosper from innovative ideas. The trick is to know which opportunities are real, and which are illusion. Use the intuitive feminine grand trine to help your discernment.
Also, love planet Venus will connect to Uranus. Romance should sizzle!
Your decisions will be revolutionary, but gracefully executed. Over the next three weeks, begin to pioneer new paths in relationships and your finances. Get ready for the action next week with the planet Mars finally turning direct on the 19th. Romantic matters remain complicated until mid-month, but overall, May is your chance to make a fresh start in many new directions.
The moon is in adventurous Sagittarius on Thursday and Friday. Get out of the humdrum routine and play. A Capricorn moon on Saturday helps you tend to practical and responsible projects and activities.
