MEDITATION
Now withdraw into the center of your heart. Meditate on the perfect pink rose. The rose petals lay at the temple of your heart. It’s petals are opening to the sun with every petal gleaming and glowing with the light. There is an ineffable light in the heart of the rose.
Become enfolded within these petals, in a soft pearly light. You are within the temple of the daisy, the Sun pours down into the heart… opening up the doorway to all empowering, unconditional Love. You are a part of this radiance and one with all of humanity, within the heart of the pink rose.
Think of Ammachi, and meditate on the pink rose, and the joy of Spring. You are looking at this rose from afar, as something outside of you. But it is within your heart, as is Amma, always! The petals of the rose are slowly opening as you chant your mantras to Amma, opening to receive the golden warmth of sunshine and power from above. There is a light within the heart as well music coming to you from the center of the rose, the flower of Love. The Light from above and the light emanating from the rose blend as one…as you swoon into the bliss of Divine Love.

The Sun has entered TAURUS
Earthy and fixed Solar TAURUS, sets you in rhythm with all that is stable and steadfast. This is a good time to promote productivity in the realms of personal finance, artistic ingenuity, and animal caretaking. ANIMAL—The Opossum—DIVERSION
Opossum…Roll over!
Are you really dead?
Or just playing possum?
Was it something I said?
The Opossum greatest form of protection is to roll over and play dead. In doing this, Opossum confuses many a predator into believing that the game is over. Oftentimes the confused rival walks away or looks in the other direction for a moment, and the Opossum runs to safety.
Opossum medicine uses a great deal of strategy. If all else fails, Opossum plays dead. It has the ability to fight with its claws and teeth, but rarely uses this form of protection. Instead, the supreme strategy of diversion is constantly employed when things get a little hard to handle. Opossum has developed an act that would receive the Academy Award in the animal kingdom. The musk of the death scent is excreted as well, adding to the master play that sends enemies on many trails of confusion.
As Opossum has turned up for the vibration of May 2012, you are being asked to use some form of strategy in a present situation. Rely upon your instincts for the best way out of a tight corner. If you have to pretend to be apathetic or unafraid, do it! Oftentimes if you refuse to struggle or show that hurtful words bother you, your taunter will see no further fun to the game. Warriors have used Opossum medicine for centuries, playing dead when the enemy nears and outnumbers them. Then, in a flash, when the enemy is least expecting it, the war cry is heard. The fright of this serves to further confuse the unsuspecting opposition. Victory is sweet when the strategy is one of mental as well as physical prowess.
Opossum is relaying to you that you are to expect the unexpected and be clever in achieving your victory. This could be a victory over a bothersome salesman or nosey neighbor. In essence, Opossum is beckoning you to use your brain, your sense of drama, and surprise attack—to leap over some barrier to your progress.

Water-That which conducts
The urge toward unconsciousness, toward the past and immersion in the flow of feeling, toward the Mother, the womb’s security – all of this is inherent within the Laguz rune. Unseen powers are active here. The creative and fertile powers of nature. The attributes of Laguz are water, fluidity, the ebb and flow of tides and emotions, careers and relationships. It fulfills our need to immerse ourselves in the experience of living without having to evaluate or understand. It speaks to the desire for comfort and the satisfaction of emotional needs, the lunar side of our nature. For while the sun strives for differentiation, the moon draws us toward unity and merging.
This Rune often signifies a time for cleansing, for revaluing, reorganizing, realigning. A Rune of knowing and psychic power, it may call you to study spiritual matters in readiness for deep self-transformation. For a man, success now lies in contacting his intuitive knowing; for a woman, in attuning to her own rhythms. A Rune of the self relating rightly to the Higher-Self, it signifies what the alchemists called the conjunction, or sacred marriage. In fairy tales, it is the end where the hero and heroine live happily ever after.
