As you accept with patience and surrender the difficulties you encounter throughout life on a daily basis, so will you find flowing into you through the Crown Chakra, a light or life-force which will remove all anxiety and pain, making each day a new experience. This comes to each one of us gently, slowly, as we open ourselves from within to the gifts of Spirit. Occasionally you will become aware of a glow within your heart, or of a light feeling, and you will become aware of the harmony which is shaping your life right now through the power of the Divine.
When you direct the right thoughts to those around you, and begin to put the action of the Law of Love in front of any circumstances you may find yourself in, you will find that these troubles and upsets will gradually smooth themselves out. Events will begin to work more harmoniously for you and you will begin to feel, “God is very good to me.” You will begin to realize that within you, as you practice your daily meditations, there is a power building, a feeling of Love, which is helping you actively. This will guide you towards the desired balance of Love, Peace and Harmony within your heart.
This glow within your heart which brings to you such sweet happiness and joy may remain for a few minutes, a few hours, or a few days – and then may disappear. Never fear for slowly this power and gratitude awareness will increase in you. As your life continues, you will experience this renewing energy more often, for you are Ascending up a spiral of light and vibration which will eventually bring you, as a Daughter or Son of God, into the kingdom of eternal light and bliss.

The Sun has entered the sign of LEO
The fiery sign of LEO has an inside track on love, power and the universe. One of the best routes you can take is heart-focused meditation. Anything you can do to enhance the purity of your ideas and creativity will bring you rewards. Developing and using your creative abilities creates an energy flow within you that triggers that same flow to others when they encounter the work you have done. Music, acting and temporal forms of artistic expression that involve an audience as you create, brings you an especially potent technique. Engaging in sports activities brings joy and enthusiasm and at its best, brings playfulness to both spectators and players. Taking on a leadership role will challenge you to bring forth your best, Leo. Working and playing with children can also trigger spontaneity within for the benefit of everyone involved. Children respond the best when someone is able to touch their minds and hearts to draw them out. Their relative openness, especially when young, will allow you to open your heart as well. No matter what you do, if you realize that by giving to others you give to and improve yourself, you will always be on the right track.
A month ending with a new Moon solar eclipse in it can also be referred to as a “teachable moment.” As with any eclipse, we may not notice the effect the energies have on our life right away, but if we look, listen, and learn from the world around us on the day of the eclipse itself, as well as the days that follow, we often notice similar types of events occurring. ANIMAL: THE FROG
FROG: Cleansing
Sing, Frog, sing,
Call the rains,
Quench the dryness,
Cleanse the earth,
Then fill me up again.
Frog sings the songs that bring the rain and make the road dirt more bearable. Frog medicine is akin to water energy, and the East on the medicine wheel. Frog teaches us to honor our tears, for they cleanse the soul. All water rites belong to Frog, including the initiations by water.
Water prepares and cleanses the body for sacred ceremony. It is the element we understand best in the womb. Frog, like ourselves, is a pollywog in the fetal waters, and only learns to hop after it experiences the world of fluidity.
The transformation into adulthood prepares Frog for its power to call in waters of the skies: the rain. In knowing the element of water, Frog can sing the song that calls the rain to the Earth. When the ponds are dry, Frog calls upon the Thunder Beings to cleanse and replenish the Earth with water. Like Frog, we are asked to know when it is time to refresh, purify, and refill the coffers of the soul.
Frog has hopped into the vibrations of August 2016, in the water sign of Leo, and its “ribet” may be calling in the cleansing you need. If you were to look at where you are today, would you use any of the following words to describe your condition: tired, overloaded, frustrated, harried, guilty, itchy, nervous, at a loss, empty, or weakened? If so take a break and allow yourself to bathe in the waters of Frog medicine. This could mean a long relaxing bath, disconnecting the phone, yelling “stop” or simply taking three deep, cleansing breaths.
The key thought is to find a way to rid yourself of distractions and to replace the mud with clear energy. Then replenish your parched spirit, body, and mind. An ability of Frog medicine people is to give support and energy where it is needed. A Frog medicine person can clean and clear any negativity from any environment. Many mediums or clairvoyants who work with “cleaning” haunted houses carry Frog medicine. Many of the worlds “seers” use water on their hands when tapping into the other realms of reality due to water’s super-conductive nature.
In Myan and Aztec shamanistic practices, the Shaman places water in his or her mouth and sprays it over the body of a patient to clear away any negative energy. This is done while holding the thought of Frog firmly in the mind so that healing may occur and the patient may be replenished with positive energy. Sometimes dried and stuffed frogs are also used to guard the person’s body during the session.
Frog speaks of new life and harmony through its rain song. The deep tones of frog’s “ribet” are said to be a call to the Thunder Beings; thunder, lightening and rain. The “ribet” is the heartbeat that comes into harmony with Father Sky and calls for the replenishment needed. Call to Frog and find the peace and joy of taking time to give to yourself. A part of this giving is cleansing yourself of any person, place, or thing that does not contribute to your new state of serenity and replenishment.
CRYSTAL: THE PERIDOT and ONYX
PERIDOT: Balances the glandular system. Aids in tissue regeneration. Has beneficial infuences on the heart, pancreas, spleen, liver, adrenals and purifies the body. Strengthens bloodstream. Overall balancer of the mind and body. Aligns the subtle bodies and increases intuitive awareness. Reduces stress. Stimulates the mind and thinking process. Accelerates personal growth. Opens new pathways to new opportunities. Helpful when going through sudden change or crisis.
ONYX: Relieves stress and removes negative energies. Balances the male/female polarities. Strengthens bone marrow. Aids in detachment. Enhances emotional balance and self-control. Creates desire for higher inspiration and brings it in. Works with the seven chakras and our attitudes, depending on the color of the onyx.
RUNE of the Month – ANSUZ
ANSUZ — Signals
ANSUZ is the first of the twelve Runes that make up the Cycle of Self-Transformation. These Runes focus directly upon the mechanism of self-change. The keynote in August of 2016 is receiving: messages, signals, gifts. Even a timely warning may be seen as a gift. When the Messenger Rune brings us sacred knowledge, one is truly blessed.
The message may be that of a new life unfolding. New lives begin with new connections, surprising linkages that direct us to new pathways. Take pains to be especially aware and conscious during meetings, visits, chance encounters, particularly with persons wiser than yourself. A sense of new family solidarity invests Ansuz.
Through association with the Norse god Loki, Mercury overshadows this Rune. In mythology a strange, androgynous figure, keeper of the keys of knowledge, Mercury carried messages between the gods and between gods and humanity. In him is symbolized the urge to integrate unconscious motive with conscious recognition. This Rune is the focus for August 2016, telling us that the connection with the Divine is at hand.
Signals – the Ansuz Rune – brings a sign to explore the depths, the foundations of life, and to experience the inexhaustible wellspring of the Divine in your nature. You are reminded that you must draw first from the well to nourish and give to yourself. Then there will be more than enough to nourish others.
You may well be concerned over what appears to be failed communication, lack of clarity or awareness, either in your past history or in a present situation. Equally, you may feel concern because of difficulties that inhibit you from accepting what is being offered. Then again, a sense of futility, of wasted motion, of a fruitless journey, may dismay you. Remember, however, that this is one of the Cycle (karma) Runes. What happens in your life this August is timely in your life process. If the well is clogged, this is the month to clear out the waste. Make your decisions and go forward without fear. Trust the Universe to put you in the right direction. Everything will settle by Summer’s end.
Don’t be afraid to make the leap or take the chance.
