There comes a time when you seek to comprehend the true meaning of PEACE, and how you as an individual may find that peace, a peace which the world can neither give you nor take from you.
This is one way. Visualize the blazing Star, still, as yet full of life and light. Identify yourself with the Star, with the center of that Star. Allow your energies to go into the still center of that Star. Within that center you will find that all the anxieties of material life, all the struggles that you encounter in daily life, will fall away from you. In the heart of the Star is deep, eternal peace, and within this peace you are united with those whom you love.
On a daily basis give yourself time to enter this Star Temple, this calming scene. Go into it, away from the noise and turmoil, confusion, fears and anxieties of the material plane. There, within the center of this Star, find divine, holy peace. Hear within your Soul the music of the heavenly spheres, the music of the Holy Word, the audible life-stream which flows from the heart of the Creator.
Be still now, within your mind and body. Listen inwardly. Beneath all sound, beneath all thought, in the deep silence at the heart of creation, you will hear the harmony of God.

The Sun has entered CAPRICORN
In many ways, Capricorn is the most misunderstood and mysterious sign of the zodiac. Following the Winter Solstice you can reach the summit of material achievements as we go into 2021. ANIMAL—FROG
FROG
Sing Frog, sing
Call in the rains,
Quench the dryness,
Cleanse the Earth,
Then — Fill me up again.
Frog sings the songs that bring the rain and make the road dirt more bearable. Frog medicine is akin to water energy, and the East on the medicine wheel. Frog teaches us to honor our tears, for they cleanse the soul. All water rites belong to Frog, including the initiations by water.
Water prepares and cleanses the body for sacred ceremony. It is the element we understand best in the womb. Frog, like ourselves, is a pollywog in the fetal waters, and only learns to hop after it experiences the world of fluidity.
The transformation into adulthood prepares Frog for its power to call in waters of the skies: the rain. In knowing the element of water, Frog can sing the song that calls the rain to the Earth. When the ponds are dry, Frog calls upon the Thunder Beings to cleanse and replenish the Earth with water. Like Frog, we are asked to know when it is time to refresh, purify, and refill the coffers of the soul.
Frog has hopped into the vibrations of January 2021, and its “ribet” may be calling in the cleansing you need. If you were to look at where you are today, would you use any of the following words to describe your condition: tired, overloaded, frustrated, harried, guilty, itchy, nervous, at a loss, empty, or weakened? If so take a break and allow yourself to bathe in the waters of Frog medicine. This could mean a long relaxing bath, disconnecting the phone, yelling “stop” or simply taking three deep, cleansing breaths.
The key though is to find a way to rid yourself of distractions and to replace the mud with clear energy. Then replenish your parched spirit, body, and mind. An ability of Frog medicine people is to give support and energy where it is needed. A Frog medicine person can clean and clear any negativity from any environment. Many mediums or clairvoyants who work with “cleaning” haunted houses, carry Frog medicine. Many of the worlds “seers” use water on their hands when tapping into the other realms of reality due to water’s super-conductive nature.
In Myan and Aztec shamanistic practices, the Shaman places water in his or her mouth and sprays it over the body of a patient to clear away any negative energy. This is done while holding the thought of Frog firmly in the mind so that healing may occur and the patient may be replenished with positive energy. Sometimes dried and stuffed frogs are also used to guard the person’s body during the session.
Frog speaks of new life and harmony through its rain song. The deep tones of frog’s “ribet” are said to be a call to the Thunder Beings; thunder, lightening, and rain. The “ribet” is the heartbeat that comes into harmony with Father Sky and calls for the replenishment needed. Call to Frog and find the peace and joy of taking time to give to yourself. A part of this giving is cleansing yourself of any person, place, or thing that does not contribute to your new state of serenity and replenishment.

RUNE FOR JANUARY

Hagalaz represents the urge to change. This Rune brings freedom, invention, and liberation. The time of January energies of 2021 indicate a pressing need within the psyche to break free from constricting identification with material reality and to experience the world of archetypal mind.
Hagalaz is the Rune of elemental disruption, representing unaccountable weather conditions, sudden storms, winds, and events beyond your control. The energies of January will be a time of Awakening although the form in which the awakening takes may vary for each one of us. Perhaps you will experience a gradual feeling of coming to your senses, as though you were emerging from a long sleep. Then again, the onset of power may be such as to rip away the fabric of what you previously knew as your reality, your security, your understanding of yourself, your work, your relationships, and beliefs.
Be aware, however, that what operates here is not ultimately an outside force, not a situation of you at the mercy of the externals. Your own nature is creating what is happening and you are not without power in the situation. The inner strength you have funded until now in your life is your support and guide at a time when everything you’ve taken for granted is being challenged.
This time of January 2021 puts us all on notice! Severe changes are on the way! You may sustain loss or damage, a tree may fall on your home, your town may be hit by a tidal wave, or tornadoes, a relationship may fail, plans go wrong, a source of financial supply may dry up. Be forewarned! Be encouraged to understand and accept that what occurs is necessary, called for from somewhere within in your deepest self as a cry for a pressing need for soul growth.
There is nothing trivial about this RUNE. The more severe the disruption in your life, the more significant and timely the requirements for your growth. The term radical discontinuity best describes the action of this time, a Cycle of Runes at its most forceful. The Universe and your own Soul are demanding that you do, indeed, grow.

Happy New Year! Well, 2021 is here and brings us square into the new decade of the 2020’s. This is a dark time on our planet as we move to brings the world to a better place. Change always brings us resistance, upsets, some turmoil, and anxiety. Because of the astrological aspects, 2021 promises to be a a smoother flowing year than 2020 was. There is a need to remain flexible as this changing energy (Saturn moving from the Earth Sign of Capricorn into the Air Sign of Aquarius) will extend into all areas of life from global economics to what kind of energy we use, to the kind of food we eat. 2021 is the year to hang on tight, focus, pray, and manifest, as we all roll with the punches!
