The compassion of the Unseen
Do not separate the heavens from earth, but strive rather to draw yourself closer to others and establish a strong relationship with your inner guides, the unseen masters and meld into the unlimited powers of the Source. Be in Partnership with your Blessed Higher Self.
If you will hold steadfast to your path, where you have been guided from past lives and your internal guides, you will find a treasure to this life. You can walk in the flow of a never-ending stream of unseen help, healing and happiness. Your inner guides and beloved masters are on this road by your side. Not one of you stands alone! You have only to meditate, pray and ask in simple trust, and you shall receive whatever you need. It shall be supplied. Your guides know your innermost needs and will comfort you and lead you to green pastures and beside still, clear waters.
When you become stressed, depressed or fearful, there is no strength of flowing health in you. Yes – the trials of life can bring about depression and lower your vitality, but this lowered vibration can be overcome by the Spirit of Joy and by the eternal light of God within you, which must be sought. Raise the curtain, open the window of light, and allow the Soul to bathe within the sunlight of God’s love – everyday.
When the weaker human self stumbles along the path, the Blessed Higher Self must take over with strong control and direction. Trust a little more! Those who do not understand Divine Law will say, “A miracle has happened.” However- the miracles are the divine powers of manifestation flowing with your own Soul.
Be still now, within your mind and body. Listen inwardly. Beneath all sound, beneath all thought, in the deep silence at the heart canter — the place of creation, you will hear the harmony of God.

The Sun has entered Capricorn
Earthy Capricorn, symbolized by the Mountain Goat or legendary Unicorn, is in many ways the most mysterious of the twelve signs. Like its counterparts Taurus and Virgo, Capricorn’s keynotes are sensible efforts, conservation and painstaking discipline. Yet Capricorn opens a portal to a spiritual level of love that still befuddles the mainstream of humanity. Thus, the Christmas holy day is often lost in a swirl of social activity and gift-giving, instead of being honored as a yearly opportunity for the restoration of inner light and divine wisdom in everyone. If you avoid the snares of narrow ideologies and rigid morals, and lift yourself to new heights of personal authority, Solar Capricorn will become your gateway to what it really means to be capable and benevolent.
Many harmonious planetary placements make 2015 a year of recovery along with powerful positive change. These energies kick in right at the year begins, as Uranus reaffirms the need to shake up your perceptions from its position in Aries. Mercury’s focus on your inner life until it retrogrades on January 21st in Aquarius. This energy will make you able to reach your highest goals.
You’ve been thinking of some new high-flying financial ideas. Now is the time to test these ideas to see how they will stand up. First learn all you can about what it is you want to do. Then write out a plan for accomplishing it. By April you will know much more about this plan and just how to go about manifesting it. Travel could be a part of your life now, either as a part of the new plan or as an aspect of desire.
You will be pleasantly surprised about the knowledge you will gain this year, almost like a child in the candy shop, and new information is the candy. You may find a body of knowledge that never sparked your interest before, but is suddenly relevant. Something you feel you cannot live without. You will probably experience flashes of information that borders on genius, which will serve you in whatever areas of your expertise. You may also have some startling revelations regarding your relatives, especially siblings or cousins. You will be pleased with the changes they have made in their lives. New opportunities occur for you around March 16, July 10, August 27 and October 11th.

ANIMAL: PORCUPINE — Innocence
Porcupine
Porcupine…remind me
Of innocence again,
With every man a brother
Each woman a friend.
The South Door of the medicine wheel is the place of childlike innocence and humility. It is the home of playfulness, and the position of the Porcupine on the medicine wheel of life. Porcupine has many special qualities, and a very powerful medicine: this is the power of faith and trust. The power of faith contains within it the ability to move mountains. The power of trust in life involves trusting that the Great Spirit has a divine plan. Your task is to find the pathway that is most beneficial to you and that uses your greatest talents to further that plan. Trust can open doorways to the creation of space. The space thus created allows others to open their hearts to you and share their gifts of love, joy and companionship. If you were to observe Porcupine, you would immediately notice its quills. These quills are only used when trust has been broken between Porcupine and another creature. Much like Otter, porcupine is a gentle, loving creature, and non-aggressive. When fear is not present it is possible to feed a Porcupine by hand and never get stuck by its quills.
Through understanding the basic nature of this animal, you may come to understand your own need for trust and faith, and to surrender every concern and every desire up to the divine; it’s like becoming a child again. In today’s society, this is a needed reminder to honor the wonder of life and the appreciation of every new day as an adventure of discovery.
Porcupine sat silently look at a hollow log. She wondered if it was a playhouse that nature had created just for her. Porcupine envisioned all the things she could do with the log. She could climb on top and make the log roll from side to side. She could go inside and see if there were any juicy worms for her dinner. She could scratch her back on the rough outer bark of the log if she wanted to.
Just as Porcupine was pondering what to do next, she saw Bear approaching. Bear was big and black and looking for honey. “Oh, another playmate to share my log,” she thought.
Gruff old Bear snorted,”Porcupine do you know that I’m too old to play? You’re in my way. I’m looking for honey. Go away!”
“Why Bear, you’re never too old to play,” she replied. “If you forgot what it was like to be a cub, you’ll always be as impatient and gruff as you are now.” Bear began to think about what Porcupine has said. Maybe she was right. All other creatures had run away from Bear in fright. Even the other Bears had turned up their noses when he growled at them. This little Porcupine was certainly trusting him not to eat her. She even offered to be his friend.
The old Bear looked at Porcupine and began to feel something move inside him. He started to remember the games he had played as a cub. Joy started to live in him again.
“Little Porcupine, you have reminded me that in becoming strong and seeking answers, I got caught in trying to be an intellectual. I became afraid of what other would think if I dropped my mask of gruffness. I was afraid they wouldn’t take me seriously anymore. You have taught me that in being the fuddy-duddy, I was, caused others not to care about me. Thank you. I’d love to play with this old log.” And so it was that Bear became childlike again and learned the innocence of Porcupine.
January promises to be a backbreaking month! In choosing the Porcupine to represent the energies of January 2015, you have given yourself a gentle reminder not to get caught in the chaos of the adult world where fear, greed, and suffering are commonplace. The medicine of this Animal Card is that of relief from seriousness and severity. Open your heart to those things that gave you joy as a child. Remember the preciousness of fantasy and imagination, and the making of some game or toy from nothing but scraps. Honor the child within and the Spirit that allows everyone to be a winner!

RUNE of the Month – MANNAZ
THE SELF
The Essence and Starting Point in Life
Mannaz represents the starting point which is the Self. Its essence is water, the sign of Cancer. Only clarity and the willingness to change is effective now. A correct relationship with yourself is primary, for from this flows all possible correct relationships with others and with the Divine.
Remain modest – that is the Oracle’s counsel. Regardless of how great may be your merit, be yielding and devoted, moderate and correct, for then you have a true direction for your way of life. Be in the world but not a part of it. That is implicit here, however do not be closed, or narrow, or judging. Remain receptive to impulses flowing from the Divine within and without. Here you might contemplate the words from Hamlet: “To thine own self be true.” These words also may be contemplated, “strive to live the ordinary life in a non-ordinary way.” Remember at all times what is coming to be and passing away, and focus on that which abides. Nothing less is called for from within you now. January 2015 will be a time of major growth and rectification, and as a rule, rectification must come before progress.
This is not a time for trying to gain credit for accomplishments, but rather to seek to fulfill the time span, content to do your tasks for the task’s sake which is the meaning of eminent activity. This will be more of a problem for those whose eyes are always on the goal than for those who have not forgotten how to play and can more easily and readily lose themselves in doing the work for its own sake. Herein lies the secret of experiencing a True presence.
If you take Mannaz, the Rune of Self, and cut it down the middle you have the Rune for Joy with its mirror image. There is a subtle caution here against carelessness. The dancing acrobatic energy of balancing is called for in January, 2015. The Self is required to balance within the Self. Nothing in excess was the second phrase written over the temple in Delphi. The first phrase was know thyself. With these works the order of the Runes begin.
Above all – this month of January – do not give yourself airs. The momentum of past habits is the challenge here. In the life of Spirit you are always at the beginning.
This has always been the section for Healing Requests. Through the power of group prayers, healing take place spontaneously. You can be of help to many others, as well as your loved ones, with one minute of silence at 7:30 pm EST every Sunday evening anywhere in the world. With a prayer for the recovery of health, universal energy is sent out to any and all who send in their prayer request. What is needed is the name and birth date of the ill person, along with a diagnosis, if possible. What are you asking to be lifted? When you place your request in the Healing Circle of Light—located in our Prayer Room; know that as soon as you make your Prayer request and Healing request, you will begin to see positive results!

Expect all kinds of sudden events to come your way in 2015, from your nearest and dearest, Taurus; many which will be very uplifting. You will be comforting others the best way you know how, with your soothing voice, quieting their nerves, and assuring them all will work out well. Odd and unusual admirers will be around, instead of the usual dressed up kind. Money, career matters, and security flow with you all year.
Gemini (5/21-6/20)
Your already fidgety mind is focused on travel and education as 2015 opens, Gemini. You also may come in contact with past relationships in faraway places. Traveling and learning always makes you feel brand new. You could begin a small, new, home-based business marking a good start for the New Year.
Cancer (6/21-7/22)
2015 brings joint finances and intimate partners into focus, Cancer. This is probably exactly what needs to happen. If you are not happy with the way matters are, it may be necessary to get things back on on track. Finances promise to be unstable all month, Cancer, so only spend that which is necessary.
Leo (7/23-8/22)
Watch out Leo! 2015 can set you on a rather rebellious path. Either your significant other or an old friend inspires you to make some changes. If you’re not happy about an injustice that has been done, you won’t stop until you set things right. You may need to put out some fires concerning relationships as well.
Virgo (8/23-9/22)
2015 brings a willingness to entirely change your lifestyle. Time to drop those bad, addictive habits. As you dive into a more positive regime, you may want to quit your job. Be sure you have other options before you do. Perhaps the Universe will introduce you to someone who can help.
Libra (9/23-10/22)
2015 brings attention from higher-ups, authority figures, and elders, who will be very much on your mind. If you’ve been missing someone, give them a call. Reach out, if you’ve lost track. Don’t forget to check them out on Facebook and other social media. If you’re feeling a bit unsettled financially, why not start a home based business? It’s perfect timing!
Scorpio (10/ 23-11/22)
2015 is an unusual time for you because, uncharacteristically, you just may throw caution to the wind. You are one to thinks out all the angles before making any moves, Scorpio. However if your antennae tells you that this new place is perfect for you, even if it’s hundreds or thousands of miles away from home, make the move. Trust the Universe, and know that all will work out the best for you. Same with lovers; if you feel you’re with the right one, take a step toward commitment. Trial periods are unacceptable.
Sagittarius (11/23-12/21)
2015 brings change, with a capital C Sag, and you are open to the changes. The more the merrier. You usually speak your mind without any regrets, so prepare your friends for a month of bluntness. Your mission is to find your intellectual challenge and go for it. If that involves getting a new computer or taking a few technology classes, then fine. Although you may be considering a move, perhaps a long distance away, don’t make it without talking with everyone involved.
Capricorn (12/22-1/19)
2015 brings you the opportunity to break your routine, delegate, and attend to the seriousness of enjoying yourself, Cap. Take some spontaneous trip and make plans for an exotic summer vacation. You could decide to settle down, and once you do, that’s it! If you’re on the prowl, it’s for job improvement or perhaps with the jeweler.

In 2015, one never knows what may come along, Aquarius, except many sudden, fast, changes. Whatever it is, you’ll make a decision and do it, and then make absolutely no apologies to anyone!
