DECEMBER 22nd — JANUARY 19, 2010
Determination and flexibility are my best career assets.

The Companionship of the Unseen

Do not separate the heavens from earth, but strive rather to draw yourself closer to others and establish a strong reltionship with your inner guides, the unseen masters and meld into the unlimited powers of the Source. Be in Partnership with your Blessed Higher Self.

If you will hold steadfast to your path, where you have been guided from past lives and your internal guides, you will find a treasure to this life. You can walk in the flow of a never-ending stream of unseen help, healing and happiness. Your inner guides and beloved masters are on this road by your side. Not one of you stands alone! You have only to meditate, pray and ask in simple trust, and you shall receive whatever you need. It shall be supplied. Your guides know your innermost needs and will comfort you and lead you to green pastures and beside still, clear waters.

When you become stressed, depressed or fearful, there is no strength of flowing health in you. Yes – the trials of life can bring about depression and lower your vitality, but this lowered vibration can be overcome by the Spirit of Joy and by the eternal light of God within you, which must be sought. Raise the curtain, open the window of light, and allow the Soul to bathe within the sunlight of God’s love—everyday.

When the weaker human self stumbles along the path, the Blessed Higher Self must take over with strong control and direction. Trust a little more! Those who do not understand Divine Law will say, “A miracle has happened.” However- the miracles are the divine powers of manifestation flowing with your own Soul.

May God grant me Health, Protection and Guidance.

When the power of love replaces the love of power, then we can begin our journey of awakening.

sunglowThe Sun has entered CAPRICORN

The sign of CAPRICORN, in many ways, is the most mis-understood and mysterious signs of the zodiac. Following the Winter Solstice and the full moon closeness to the earth, you can reach the summit of material achievements or suffer the pangs of myrterdom. As your mind opens to spiritual laws and teachings, apply what you learn in a pragmatic and businesslike manner and sidestep the isolation that afflicts many born under the earth sign signified by the determined Goat and the legendary Unicorn. Keep on relentlessly moving up your private mountaintop to worldly prominence. While conservative work methods are the golden rule, don’t get trapped in a crystalized lifestyle that prevents flexibility and invites emotional rigidity. When you take command of the dynamic thinking process and concentrate on objectives with clarity, executive leadership will crown your valiant efforts.

Based on the Rune (Possessions) and Animal (Otter) the New Year brings a focus on the medicine brought to us by Otter, the lessons of female energy. A timely animal for the Capricorn month of January, 2010, which begins with a Solar Eclipse in the sign of Cancer, representing the female energies. This energy applies to both men and women, as all of us have the female, or gentle, intuitive side. The Otter’s hide was very often used to make medicine bags for powerful tribal women, because it represents balanced female energy. 2010 is the year of the FEMALE and the balancing of powerful leaders throughout the world. As the economy begins to improve, allow the gentle, homemaking, loving side of you emerge. 2010 brings Good News! The strength and stamina are available for you to finally make some important and significant changes as the New Year opens.

RUNE of the Month — Fehu

Fehu is a Rune of fulfillment; ambitions satisfied, rewards received, love fulfilled. It also promises nourishment, from the most worldly to the sacred and the Divine. For if the principle “As is above so is below” is true, then we are here to also nourish God. This Rune calls for a deep probing of the meaning of profit and gain in your life. Look with care to know whether it is wealth and possessions you require for your well being, or rather self-rule and the growth of a will.

Observe what is happening in your life. If there is negativity, look at this with an open perspective and ask “What lesson do I need to learn from this in my life?”

When there is an occasion for joy, do not be seduced into mindless joyousness. Remember that some doubtful situations can always arise and come in the form of many guises. Now that you have reached the top, stay sharp and awakened. All that is presented to you and this fulfillment is a part of the coming and passing away. In dealing with good fortune, know where it originates, from the Grace of the Divine, and recognize where your true nourishment lies.

Don’t be afraid to make the leap or take the chance.

ANIMAL — The Otter
Otter…so playful
Coquettes by the stream.
The medicine of woman,
The Realized Dream.
The medicine brought to us by Otter are the lessons of female energy. A timely animal for the Capricorn month of January, 2010. This energy applies to both men and women, as all of us have the female, or gentle, intuitive side. The Otter’s hide was very often used to make medicine bags for powerful tribal women, because it represents balanced female energy.
Otter is very caring for its young, and will play for hours, performing all types of acrobatics. It lives on land, but always builds its home near water. The elements of earth and water are the female elements. At home in both of these elements, Otter is the personification of femininity; long, sleek, and graceful, Otter is the true coquette or flirt of the animal world.
Otter is always on the move and very curious. Unlike other animals, Otter will not start a fight unless it is attacked first. This joyful little creature is adventuresome and assumes that all other creatures are friendly – until proven otherwise.
These character traits are the beauty of a balanced female side, the side of ourselves that creates a space f or others to enter our lives without preconceptions or suspicions. Otter teaches us that balanced female energy is not jealous or catty. It is sisterhood, content to enjoy and share the good fortune of others. Anchored in the understanding that all accomplishments are worthwhile for the whole tribe, Otter people express joy for others.
Long ago, in tribal law, if a woman was widowed, her sister would offer her own husband to the widow as a lover, to keep her from drying up and not using her creative energies. This is Otter medicine too. Envy, or the fear of being replaced, has no space in Otter’s balanced understanding of sharing goodness.
Woman energy without games or control is a beautiful experience. It is the freeness of love without jealousy. It is the joy of loving other people’s children and their accomplishments as much as you love your own.
It may be time to examine your feelings about sharing the bounty of your life with others. Otter may be saying that the finer qualities of woman need to be striven for in both men and women so that a unity of spirit can be achieved. This would involve the destruction of jealousy and of all the acts of anger which stem from fear. It would mean keeping a Hawk-eye on your EGO and maintaining a total trust. It would mean a world full of people coming together to honor the right or each person to BE.
In January, 2010, the feminine energies have brought Otter—which may be telling you to become the playful child and simply allow things to unfold in your life. It may be time to stop your addiction to worrying. Otter also teaches us the importance of not hanging onto material things which would bind you or become a burden. In looking how you can learn from Otter’s habits, you might look at joyousness of the receptive side of your nature. Have you given yourself a gift recently? Have you received any intuitive messages in your meditations? Become Otter and move gently into the river of life. Flow with the waters of the Universe…this is the way of balanced female-receptive energy. Honor it! In doing so, you will discover the magnificent power of woman.

The Full Moon in CANCER on December 31/January 1st brings good news! This year opens on a Full Moon Eclipse in Cancer. 2010 promises to be the year of women, women rulers, and a softer, feminine atmosphere. It’s promise is that 2010 will be a difficult but nourishing year.

The New Moon in CAPRICORN on January 15th brings a Solar Eclipse at 25 degrees Capricorn. This promises to create a high stress factor. It is best not to schedule any life-altering events in January such as an interview, job change, move, engagement, or marriage until February. World finances will also be on a downward spiral. Also, be sure to reschedule any important meetings, because Mercury is still coming out of retrograde.

The Full Moon in Leo on January 30th brings a release from all of the January tension. All problematic matters come to a head as this Full Moon opposes the Sun in Aquarius. Flattery always calms the most bruised ego, and flattery is your ticket to success. Use it sparingly, but well, to bring your personal accomplishments into the limelight, and you will have people eating out of your hands.

CAPRICORN: Polarity: Feminine Sign: Cardinal Element: Earth Planetary Rule: 10th House/Pluto Body: Knees, bones, joints FOCUS: I use.

MERCURY is retrograde through January 15th. It moves forward on January 15th, on the Capricorn Solar Eclipse.
