The Sun has entered the sign of CANCER

ANIMAL: THE SWAN
Swan — The power of woman
Entering sacred space
Touching the future—Yet to come
Bringing to all eternal Grace.
Little Swan flew through the Dreamtime, the veil of light, looking for the future. She rested a moment in the coolness of the pond, looking for a way to find the entry point to the future, the Stargate. This was a moment of confusion for the Swan, as she knew she had happened into Dreamtime by accident. This was her first meditation flight alone and she was a bit concerned about the Dreamtime landscape.
As Swan looked high above Sacred Mountain, she saw the biggest swirling black hole she had ever seen. Dragonfly came flying by, and Swan stopped him to ask about the black hole. Dragonfly said, “Swan, that is the doorway to the other planes of our imagination. I have been a guardian of the illusion for many moons. If you want to enter there, you will have to ask permission of the higher forces and earn the right to do so.”
Swan was not so sure she wanted to enter the black hole. She asked Dragonfly what was necessary to earn the entry. “You must be willing to accept whatever the future holds as it is presented in your life, without trying to change the Great Spirit plan.” Swan looked at her ugly duckling body and then answered, “I will be happy to abide by the Great Spirit plan. I will not fight the currents of the black hole. I will surrender to the flow of the spiral and what I am shown.”
Dragonfly was very happy with her answer and began to spin the magic to break through the illusion of the pond. Suddenly Swan was engulfed in the whirlpool in the center of the pond.
Swan reappeared many days later, but now she was graceful, white and had a long neck. Dragonfly was stunned! “Swan what happened to you?” he exclaimed.
Swan smiled and said, “Dragonfly, I learned to surrender my body to the power of the Great Spirit and was taken to where the future lives. I saw many wonders high on the Sacred Mountain and because of my faith and my acceptance, I have been changed. I have learned to accept the State of Grace.” Dragonfly was very happy for Swan.
Swan told Dragonfly many wonders beyond the veil of illusion. Through her healing and her acceptance of the State of Grace she was given permission to enter the Dreamtime. So it is that we learn to surrender into the grace and rhythm of the universe and we are able to slip out of our physical bodies into Dreamtime. Swan medicine teaches us to be one with all planes of consciousness, and to trust in the Great Spirit’s protection.
July of 2023 ushers in a time of altered states of consciousness and the development of your intuitive abilities. Swan medicine people have the ability to see the future, to surrender to the power of Great Spirit, and to accept healing along with transformation of their lives.
The month of July 2023 is telling you to accept your ability to know what lies ahead. If you are resisting your self-transformation, relax! It will be easier when you go with the flow. Stop denying to yourself that you know who it is when the phone rings. Pay attention to your inner hunches as well as your gut feeling reactions, and honor the female intuitive side of yourself.
CRYSTAL: THE RUBY, BLOODSTONE
RUBY — Aids in regeneration of the physical/spiritual heart. Is the 4th crystal in the seven lines of the Chakras. Enhances circulation and the life-force. Vitalizes blood and the entire mind/body/spirit system. Strengthens the immune system. Activates dormant conditions on the physical and spiritual levels. Refines lower passions. Helps to banish a sense of limitation and strengthens self-esteem. Creates courage, integrity, selfless service, joy, spiritual devotion, power and leadership.
BLOODSTONE — Strengthens and oxygenates bloodstream. Enhances physical/mental vitality. Strengthens the heart, spleen, bone marrow. Aids in balancing iron deficiencies. Reduces mental/emotional stress. Powerful physical healer. Stimulates movement of the kundalini. Links the root chakra with the heart center bringing inner guidance, altruism, idealism. A highly evolved crystal gem.
RUNE of the Month – MOVEMENT
Movement—Progress—A Horse
Ehwaz represents the Rune of Movement, of physical shifts, new dwelling places, new attitudes, new life; movement also, in the sense of improving or bettering any situation.
Ehwaz is the Rune of transit and transformation. There is about this Rune a sense of gradual development and steady progress, with the accompanying awareness of slow growth through numerous shifts and changes. This could apply to the growth of a business or the development of an idea. A relationship also needs to undergo changes and transformations if it is to maintain growth and life. Personal moral effort and persevering steadfastness are called for during the month of November.
Let it be said this way, “As I cultivate my nature and character, all else follows.” A horse is this Rune’s symbol because it progresses gradually. From Bronze Age artifacts we find the sun linked to the horse. The Horse symbolized the Sun and was thought to be pulling it across the sky. In July of 2023, the Rune Ehwaz is saying you have progressed far enough to feel a measure of safety, of surety in your position. Now it is time to turn again and face the future reassured and be prepared to share the good fortune that comes. This last comment, the sharing, is significant, as it relates to the power of the Sun to foster life and illuminate all things in its light. Be that!
You are put on notice during the time of CANCER energies that an opportunity is at hand and should not be lost or ignored. Be certain that what you are doing, or not doing, is timely. There are no missed opportunities but we simply must recognize that all opportunities are not for us. If you are feeling blocked or clouded and unclear about what action to take, meditate on it. Consider what is timely and appropriate to your nature. The opportunity at hand may be not to act with childish or outdated responses and to grow in strength. Always remember that what is yours will always come to you.
Don’t be afraid to make the leap or take the chance.

STARGAZING FOR JULY, 2023
The July 3rd Full Moon in Capricorn brings knowledge that if you have been going down a one-way street with blinders on, either at work or at home, it’s time to make some new decisions and changes. Give up the old so you can turn a corner onto a two way street and get to where you want to go.
The July 17th New Moon in Cancer brings a time to let go and go your own way. If you’re in an old-fashioned group dynamic – have courage to accept a failing system and move on.

ARIES (3/21-4/20)
As July opens, Mars and Venus are in Leo. This can be a very romantic time; getting engaged, making wedding news or information that others share. TAURUS (4/21-5/21)

Sociability drives the energy of this month. A sibling invites you to a cookout on the 16th and you rave over their food spread. You could meet up with some long-lost cousins. GEMINI (5/21-6/20)
Lunar aspects are not favorable for travel as July opens. Celebrate our nation’s holiday with fun and games at home, along with a fabulous cookout. Friends invite you to a gathering, and possibly a pool party mid-month. Take a day trip with them along a nearby nature trail. July proved to be a powerful money month for you beginning right after the Independence Day holiday. You could be up for a promotion and a raise.
CANCER (6/21-7/22)
If your birthday is near the New Moon on July 17th this will be a very important and memorable year fir you. What an active social month July promises to be. You travel to visit with relatives over the 4th, and in return, come visit you at month’s end. Old friends contact you for a reunion dinner around the 11th. Graciously accept, and buy the wine. You discover several financial errors at work and bring it to the higher ups attention. This brings you praise, a raise, as well as more work and responsibilities.
LEO (7/23-8/22)
You invite family and friends over for your holiday bash. You’re gifted with outstanding hosting talents and for outrageous food delights. Conflicts with partners and room mates arise mid-month which are centered around finances. Although you’re invited to a family event near month’s end, circumstances prevent you from attending. Performance commendations abound at the end of July, along with a hefty raise.
VIRGO (8/23-9/22)
Host a backyard barbeque instead of travel for your Independence Day celebration. The best day to enjoy a festive date with your significant other is July 7th under a Pisces Moon as you bond through loving communications. Accept a friend’s invitation for dinner and fun mid-month. Mid-July brings you the promotion you desire and you appreciate your bosses belief on your performance.

Work and relationships compete for your time in July. There are problems with travel so host a gathering at your place over the 4th. Top off your menu with a holiday decorated cake or special pie. Bankers and financial planners work with you to plan for a large transaction. Enjoy a water park outing with family and children at month’s end.

You and your family participate in the town’s 4th of July celebration. Parade anyone? Serve take out with some of your favorite barbeque choices and watch the fireworks from your patio, The theme this month is social invitations. Plan a dinner out with a sibling or cousins; vacation out of state the last two weeks. Praise children in their success with summer sports. You win praise from your boss because of your success with leadership.
SAGITTARIUS (11/23-12/21)
Celebrate the Independence Day holiday right on your own backyard. Be sure not to hang out with ant “wet blankets.” Accept invitations from friends and colleagues all month. Excite children by planning a day at the amusement park or zoo. The second part of July looks to be your money magnet. You’re looking at a few new job opportunities.
CAPRICORN (12/22-1/19)
The rest of the year is especially important to your partnerships, Capricorn. In July the focus is on how you handle your partnerships and domestic matters. Business partners invite you to dinner midmonth. Family members visit as well and you fondly reminisce about old memories. Don’t invest in any risky ventures at month’s end.
