Stargazing — Week of Nov. 1st through Nov. 7th, 2021

Nov 1, 2021 | Stargazing

November holds the first of a series of eclipses in Taurus since 2014. It gives a hint of things to come next year. As November opens, Mercury in Libra trines Jupiter in Aquarius (exact Nov 1st) and squares Pluto in Capricorn (exact Nov 2nd). Pluto’s position corresponds to the energy of its last conjunction with Jupiter on April 5th, 2020, the time of the first great Covid-19 wave and its corresponding restrictions on social life. So what’s coming now? More troublesome election results?

Mercury’s present contact with the two planets involved indicates a period of critical processing of what has gone before. With the November 4th Scorpio New Moon in opposition to Uranus in Taurus, uncomfortable questions are now surfacing that are almost impossible to ignore. When there’s a New Moon there’s no Moon at all. Beware of the darkness that flows out this week; protect yourself!

Mercury enters Scorpio on November 5th, makes a conjunction with Mars on November 10th and squares Saturn in Aquarius on the same day. Then on November 11th, Mars forms a square to Saturn as well. During these days, the mood could become quite spiteful, especially in the political arena. Then, when Mercury reaches the opposition to Uranus on November 13th, new information and surprising findings could fuel a smoldering conflict.

With the Sun square Jupiter and Venus square Chiron and Moon on the 15th, compromises will have to be made that are unlikely to satisfy everyone.

Watch out for two super trusting trines on Monday; Mercury with Jupiter and the Moon with Pluto. Gullibility abounds, which can be taken advantage of by a T Square between the Moon and Venus, compromising love relationships. It will be easy to fall for flattery and be groomed by the narcissist  or sociopath, who will come back to abuse you later on in the week.

Heads up people; it will be very hard to know who to trust this week.  Others may be colluding with people at the top without you knowing during the square between Mercury and Pluto on Tuesday. Be careful of competitive colleagues who will be gossiping behind your back. They may even present your ideas as their own to bosses and upper management. If you begin to feel suspicious, trust your instincts, and keep things to yourself this week.

Silver-tongued Devils abound on Wednesday when the Moon conjuncts smooth-talking Mercury in Libra while trining Jupiter, yet squaring Pluto. It will be easy for words to be used to undermine the success of others or exploit them to one’s own ends.

On Thursday, the Moon conjuncts social-climbing Mars and squares Saturn shortly before the New Moon opposes Uranus. This brings an aura of ruthless ambition in the air, which could pull the rug out from under anyone who has grown complacent with their security.

Luckily, a sense of cooperation returns on Saturday with an amicable sextile between Mercury and Venus. Be sure to put up a definitive and strong boundary between yourself and your working life this weekend, and enjoy a relaxing, uplifting time with your friends and romantic partners.
