The Spring Equinox Leads us to New Beginnings – Flowers, Pets, Easter, and Spring.
The Sun has entered AIRES
Symbolized by the Ram, Aries initiates the energies following the Vernal Spring Equinox. A close relationship could reach a turning point at the Full Moon is Libra on March 28th. A chance encounter at month’s end could spark a whirlwind romance or an instantaneous friendship with a soul mate, as Venus in Aries connects you with intriguing people. Be cautious with investments, with your spending, and resist the pressure if you are asked for a loan or donation. All that will change at month’s end when you could earn a raise, bonus, or promotion, and/or receive a long-awaited payment or settlement.

ANIMAL: THE SWAN
Swan — The power of woman
Entering sacred space
Touching the future—Yet to come
Bringing to all eternal Grace.
Little Swan flew through the Dreamtime, the veil of light, looking for the future. She rested a moment in the coolness of the pond, looking for a way to find the entry point to the future, the Stargate. This was a moment of confusion for the Swan, as she knew she had happened into Dreamtime by accident. This was her first meditation flight alone and she was a bit concerned about the Dreamtime landscape.
As Swan looked high above Sacred Mountain, she saw the biggest swirling black hole she had ever seen. Dragonfly came flying by, and Swan stopped him to ask about the black hole. Dragonfly said, “Swan, that is the doorway to the other planes of our imagination. I have been a guardian of the illusion for many moons. If you want to enter there, you will have to ask permission of the higher forces and earn the right to do so.”
Swan was not so sure she wanted to enter the black hole. She asked Dragonfly what was necessary to earn the entry. “You must be willing to accept whatever the future holds as it is presented in your life, without trying to change the Great Spirit plan.” Swan looked at her ugly duckling body and then answered, “I will be happy to abide by the Great Spirit plan. I will not fight the currents of the black hole. I will surrender to the flow of the spiral and what I am shown.”
Dragonfly was very happy with her answer and began to spin the magic to break through the illusion of the pond. Suddenly Swan was engulfed in the whirlpool in the center of the pond.
Swan reappeared many days later, but now she was graceful, white and had a long neck. Dragonfly was stunned! “Swan what happened to you?” he exclaimed. Swan smiled and said, “Dragonfly, I learned to surrender my body to the power of the Great Spirit and was taken to where the future lives. I saw many wonders high on the Sacred Mountain and because of my faith and my acceptance, I have been changed. I have learned to accept the State of Grace.” Dragonfly was very happy for Swan.
Swan told Dragonfly many wonders beyond the veil of illusion. Through her healing and her acceptance of the State of Grace she was given permission to enter the Dreamtime. So it is that we learn to surrender into the grace and rhythm of the universe and we are able to slip out of our physical bodies into Dreamtime. Swan medicine teaches us to be one with all planes of consciousness, and to trust in the Great Spirit protection.
April of 2021 ushers is a time of altered states of consciousness and the development of your intuitive abilities. Swan medicine people have the ability to see the future, to surrender to the power of Great Spirit, and to accept healing along with transformation of their lives.
The month of April 2021 is telling you to accept your ability to know what lies ahead. If you are resisting your self-transformation, relax! It will be easier when you go with the flow. Stop denying to yourself that you know who it is when the phone rings. Pay attention to your inner hunches as well as your gut feeling reactions, and honor the female intuitive side of yourself.

RUNE of the Month—Thurisaz
GATEWAY
Place of Non-Action
With a gateway for its symbol, this Rune indicates that there is work to do both inside and outside of yourself. The Spirit of Transformation guards the gate of the personal world, looking out as well as in, symbolizing the abiding urge to transcend the limits of the little self. The Gateway is at once a portal and a frontier between Heaven and the mundane. Having this Rune during the energies of Aries, completes a cycle that brings new beginnings and is a recognition of your readiness to contact the luminous, the Divine, to illuminate your experience so that its meaning shines through its form.
Thurisaz is the Rune of non-action. This Gateway is not to be approached and passed through without contemplation. During the time of Aries energies, you are being confronted with a true reflection of what is hidden within yourself, what must be exposed and examined before successful action can be undertaken. This Rune’s strength lies in its ability to wait. This is not a time to take decisions. Deep transformational forces are at work with this Rune.
Visualize a gateway on a hilltop. Your entire life lies behind you and below. Before you pass through this Gateway, pause and review the past; the learning, the joys, the tests and tribulations, all you have experienced and all it took to bring you to this place, this moment. Bless it, release it, and let it go! For in doing so, you will reclaim what is truly yours, the powers within the Universe.

Taurus (4/21-5/21)
In April, just when you begin to breathe normally again the wheel of restrictions and limitations begin to enter your arena in your workspace. Ambition is a good thing as long as you don’t overdo “it’s my way or the highway” when schedules don’t meet your expectations. Cool heads do not prevail in early April as they are not the best days to conduct meetings or interviews. Arguments flair up, schedules are not to your liking, and key people are missing from your support system. Pluto goes retrograde on the 27th indicating that it’s time to rethink your agenda.
Gemini (5/21-6/20)
In April your work environment dominates the essence of communication. The powers that be discuss organizational resources and allocation of funds. An employer may offer to foot the bill for specialized work. Romantic partners show skepticism of ongoing plans and show confusion about how far apart you’ll be. Don’t allow cooperation to get off course.
Cancer (6/21-7/22)
In April your life enjoys a social pick-me-up. At Holiday time there are several options that draw your attention. You’ll enjoy the quality time you spend with your family enjoying a new adventure. Spend quality time with your significant other in the evenings while including your children in recreational and sports venues to strengthen bonding time. Music and museums are some nice options as well.
Leo (7/23-8/22)
In April, as the earth comes back to life in the early spring you come alive with the passion to tackle your bucket list to move your projects along. April is about your personal choices so consider yours carefully. Be aware that Pluto turns retrograde on the 27th. Be sure to set aside time to discuss solutions to problems both at home and the workplace.
Virgo (8/23-9/22)
In April, just when you think you’re getting somewhere with a love relationship or job opportunity, Pluto retrogrades, causing delays until mid-October. If you’re planning on starting a new business or writing a new book, spend that time doing your research for better success. Moodiness prevails in the home and the reasons are vague but you won’t get anywhere if you argue. This is not the time to ask for a raise or promotion.
Libra (9/23-10/22)
As April opens several planets are creating a positive energy in your house of money and resources. If you’ve been waiting to purchase a big-ticket item, including an automobile, this is the time to find the perfect car out on the lot. Load up on your self-confidence and take advantage of aspects that strengthen friendships and romantic alignments now. After all, spring has sprung!
Scorpio (10/ 23-11/22)
April opens with you intensely involved with accounting matters as the tax deadline draws near. Your money matters are up for review, especially pertaining with how to invest your extra cash. Interactions with an important someone brings plans for a summer vacation. Be careful as expenses could escalate; especially if there’s a misunderstanding about what’s included in the package deal.
Sagittarius (11/23-12/21)
April brings you time for a spring fling or getaway. That surprising tax refund has been sitting around waiting for a refreshing resort area that appeals to you. Single Sag’s may experience lots of activity in the dating game. Your savings are growing and many will receive a handsome compensation package on the job. Save and invest well Sagittarius.
Capricorn (12/22-1/19)
In April tension forces you to soothe ruffled feathers and hurt feelings at home and help the children navigate challenging waters. You hit the jackpot with clubs and organizations who want to pick your brain. Your contributions could lead you to holding an office in the group or chairing a committee.
