The Sun has entered ARIES
Symbolized by the Ram, Aries initiates the energies following the Vernal Spring Equinox. Hummingbird is associated with the Ghost Shirt religion, which taught that a certain dance done properly would bring about a return of the animals, and that white people would disappear. Once again the Original People would know the joy of the old ways. In Mayan teachings, Hummingbird is connected with the Black Sun and the Fifth Astral World. Hummingbird can give us the medicine to solve the riddle of the contradiction of duality.
The song of Hummingbird awakens the medicine flowers. Hummer sings a vibration of pure joy. Flowers love Hummingbird because nectar-sucking brings about the reproduction of their families. Plants flowers, Honeysuckle, live because of Hummingbird.
Hummingbird can fly in any direction – up, down, backwards, and forwards. Hummingbird can also hover in one spot and appear to be motionless. Great Spirit created Hummingbird to be slightly different from other feathered creatures.
Because of their magical qualities, Hummingbird feathers have been used for a millennium in the making of love charms. It is said that Hummingbird conjures love as no other medicine does, and that Hummingbird feathers open the heart. Without an open and loving heart, you can never taste the nectar and pure bliss of life.To Brother and Sister Hummingbird, life is a wonderland of delight – darting from one beautiful flower to another, tasting the essences, and radiating the colors.

Hummingbird hears celestial music and is in harmony with it. Hummingbird may invite you to an art museum or a concert. Hummingbird energetically embraces the highest aesthetics.
Never be coarse in front of Hummingbird, for this is a fragile medicine which may have no understanding of worldly affairs. Beauty is the target, and the Hummingbird mission is to spread joy or be destroyed. Hummingbird quickly dies if caged, caught, or imprisoned. PERTH — INITIATION – Something Hidden—A Secret Matter
Initiation points to that which is beyond our frail manipulative powers. This Rune is on the side of Heaven, the Unknowable, and has associations with the Phoenix, that mystical bird that consumes itself in the fire and then rises from its own ashes. Its ways are secret and hidden.
Deep inner transformation forces are at work here. Yet what is achieved is not easily or readily shared. An integrity is involved that may be masked, disguised or secret. After all, becoming whole, the means of how to achieve this, is a profound and mystic secret.
On the side of the earthly or mundane, there may well be surprises; unexpected gains are quite possible. On the side of human nature, this Rune is symbolized by the flight of the eagle. Soaring flight, free from entanglement, lifting yourself above the endless ebb and flow of ordinary life to acquire a broader vision – all this is indicated for the time of Aries in 2011. This is the Rune of question.
Another in the Cycle Runes, Perth signifies an intense aspect of initiation. Nothing external matters here, except as it shows you its inner reflection. This Rune is connected with the deepest stratum of nature and being, which is the bedrock on which your fate is founded. If need be, let go of everything, no exceptions, no exclusions. Nothing less than renewal of the Spirit is at stake.
There is a warning here of expecting to much, or expecting things to continue on in the ordinary way. For the old way has come to an end, and you cannot repeat the patterns of the past and not expect to suffer. This Rune puts you on notice to call in your scattered energies and concentrate on your own life in this moment, your own requirements for growth. More important, Initiation teaches you not to focus on the outcome of your actions and desires. Do not bind yourself to the memory of past achievements which will rob you of a true present. Staying in the moment and acting out of the now is the only time when self-change can be realized.

Because Libra is a sign that values communication, this is one of the best Full Moons of the year to use your diplomatic side to talk things out and make a compromise.

Taurus (4/21-5/21)
April pushes you in several directions at the same time. You will alternate between relative calm and sudden, hectic activity. It’s spring cleaning time. Clear out closets, drawers, and pockets. You could find a long-lost article..
Gemini (5/21-6/20)
In April, plans and projects gradually get back on track after the 23rd. Be prepared to back up discussions with solid facts, not just emotional opinions. If you’re involved with group finances, leave the details to someone else who has the necessary knowledge and skills.
Cancer (6/21-7/22)
Mercury retrogrades on March 30th through April 23, so be sure to clarify instructions and back up files. In April the power plays continue at work, creating conflict, aggravation, and indecisions. There may be sudden changes that will affect your job. Remember to look to the future and the unlimited possibilities that await you.
Leo (7/23-8/22)

Complications continue at work in April. Power plays are a part of the action and you may feel as if you are in a no-win situation. Strive to keep your cool when tempers threaten to boil over.
Sagittarius (11/23-12/21)
Mercury retrogrades on the 30th through April 23rd, making local communication difficult. Enjoy time with your favorite people, and consider hosting a dinner party with friends. Short tempers can result, especially after Mercury retrogrades from March 30th through April 23rd. As difficult as this can be, you’ll also have bright spots with family and friends. Pisces (2/19-3/20)
