CHANGE IS A COMING—BUT YOUR LIFE CAN MAKE ALL THINGS NEW
As you accept with patience and surrender the difficulties you encounter throughout life on a daily basis, so will you find flowing into you through the Crown Chakra, a light or life-force which will remove all anxiety and pain, making each day a new experience. This comes to each one of us gently, slowly, as we open ourselves from within to the gifts of Spirit. Occasionally you will become aware of a glow within your heart, or of a light feeling, and you will become aware of the harmony which is shaping your life right now through the power of the Divine.
If you direct the right thoughts to those around you, and begin to put the action of the Law of Love in front of any circumstances you may find yourself in, you will find that these troubles and upsets will gradually smooth themselves out. Events will begin to work more harmoniously for you and you will begin to feel, “God is very good to me.” You will begin to realize that within you, as you practice your daily meditations, there is a power building, a feeling of Love, which is helping you actively. This will guide you towards the desired balance of Love, Peace and Harmony within your heart.
This glow within your heart which brings to you such sweet happiness and joy may remain for a few minutes, a few hours, or a few days – and then may disappear. Never fear for slowly this power and gratitude will increase in you. As your life continues, you will experience this renewing energy more often, for you are Ascending up a spiral of light and vibration which will eventually bring you, as a Daughter or Son of God, into the kingdom of eternal light and bliss.

September brings hurricanes, people moving to higher ground, the unexpected, disrupting news events, the passing of a world leader or Icon, quick flashing new events concerning 9/11, and detailed paperwork. Many changes with insurance forms and legal matters. Bank and IRS upsets! Problems with State funding as our school open. An “I must protect myself” mindset.
The Sun has entered VIRGO
Virgo, symbolized by the Corn Maiden, accentuates the path of personal service and purity. It represents work and service to mankind of the highest order. Through dedication to physical fitness and holistic healing, your body can become a sacred temple for the spirit within, allowing it to emerge into your everyday life. Don’t expect miracles overnight, and most Virgo’s don’t as they are quite practical. Be gentle with yourself as you eliminate those nasty habits of doubt, criticism and worry. Reawaken the wonder of learning and the satisfaction of simple joys, but turn away from the fanaticism that fosters a workaholic temperament or leads you into a hermit-like existence. Efficiency and industriousness are your twin assets, leading to complete success at this time, the harvest cycle of the year.
Virgos usually receive the Zodiac’s backlash. They are detailed, organized, methodical, chaste and very insecure. Very critical of themselves, they seem to expect the same from others, which can cause resentment and jealousy. However, they do make up for this with their charm, as they are of the most unassuming variety. Virgo’s approach is usually subtle, surprisingly tender, their standards are high, but they ultimately can accept differences and flaws once they get to know and trust you. With a Virgo, trust is never given, it has to be earned.
RUNE of the Month
CONSTRAINT — Nauthiz
Upright or reversed, this is a difficult Rune, and September 2013 promises to be a difficult month for most. The necessity of relating to severe constraint is its lesson. The positive aspect of this Rune represents the limitations we directly cause ourselves; its negative side attracts limitations from people around us. Both are equally difficult to handle. The role of Nauthiz is to identify and handle our shadow areas, places where our growth is stunted, resulting in weakness of character, which we project negatively onto others. Try not to take so much of this world personally, this Rune is saying to us. Work with your Shadow, examine what inside you magnetizes misfortune into your life. When you are able to look upon this Rune and smile, you will be able to identify the troubles, denials and setbacks of life as your guides, teachers, and developers.
The need for restraint is unquestionable in September of 2013. This Rune has put everyone on notice that there will be holdups, delays, disappointments, reasons to consider all of your plans and actions carefully. Remember this: your dissatisfaction is not unreasonable, because there is work to be done on yourself. Please take it all in good will and show perseverance.
This is a time to pay off old debts, to restore if not harmony with your loved ones, at least a balance within you. So talk it through, mend, restore, re-address. When fishermen cannot go to sea they repair their nets. Let the constraints of time serve you in righting your relationship to your Self, which is the outer reflection of your Soul. Be mindful that rectification must come before progress. Once again you are asked to consider the uses of adversity.
When something within us is disowned, that which is disowned reeks havoc. A cleansing is required here. In undertaking this challenge for growth, you will strengthen your will and character. Begin with what is difficult and proceed to that which is easy. Remember that suffering in its original sense simply meant undergoing or inner healing. Now you are required to undergo the dark side of your passage. To control your anger, to restrain your instincts, to keep your faith firm—these are the issues of September 2013. Modesty and good temper are the essential blessings of such a time.
As a part of the cycle of Self-Transformation, Nauthiz is the great teacher, disguised as the bringer of pain and limitations. It has been said that only at the point of great darkness do we become aware of the Light within us by which we come to recognize the true creative power of the Self.
Don’t be afraid to make the leap or take the chance.

ANIMAL—THE OWL
Magic, Omens

OWL—The Sacred Medicine Bird.
Owl medicine is symbolically associated with clairvoyance, astral projection, and magic, both black and white. Owl is called Night Eagle on several medicine wheels. Traditionally, Owl sits in the East, the place of illumination. Since time immemorial, humanity has been afraid of the night, the dark, the unseen—waiting fearfully for the first crack of dawn, welcoming the morning light. Conversely, night and Owl are our friends.
Owl hunts its prey at night. Not only can Owl see in the dark, but it can also accurately pinpoint and identify any sound. This gives it a great advantage when seeking food. Owls are the night hunters. Some native people are fearful of the Owl and call its feathers “deceiver feathers”. An Owl’s feather is silent. You cannot hear Owl when it flies, but its prey definitely knows when it strikes, for its beak and talons are razor sharp.
Owl is oftentimes the medicine of sorcerers and witches. If Owl has come forth this month of September 2013, you may be drawn into magical practices and perhaps beginning to explore the dark arts. There could be some strange world events, or silent but deadly and unexpected acts of aggression. You should be forewarned never to practice any black arts that may tap into and take away the energies of another person. Owl is the symbol for wisdom. Owl can see what others cannot. When others are deceived, Owl sees and knows what’s there.
Athena, the Greek Goddess of Wisdom, had a companion Owl on her shoulder which revealed secret truths to her. Owl could light up Athena’s blind side, enabling her to speak the whole truth as opposed to a half truth. So know that from now on, no one can deceive you about what they are doing, no matter how they try to disguise or hide it from you.
You may be a little frightening to be around, since so many others have ulterior motives which will be revealed to you. You can see right through them! You may frighten them and reflect their blindness, for you cannot be fooled. Owl medicine people know more about an individual’s inner life than that person knows about themselves.
So—this month we are being asked to use our powers of keen insight and observation to look into some life situation. Owl is befriending you—and aiding you into seeing the truth. Owl can bring you messages in the night through dreams or meditation. Pay attention to these signals and omens. The truth always brings us further enlightenment.
This has always been the section for Healing Requests. Through the power of group prayers, healing take place spontaneously. You can be of help to many others, as well as your loved ones, with one minute of silence at 7:30 pm EST every Sunday evening anywhere in the world. With a prayer for the recovery of health, universal energy is sent out to any and all who send in their prayer request. What is needed is the name and birth date of the ill person, along with a diagnosis, if possible. What are you asking to be lifted? When you place your request in the Healing Circle of Light—located in our Prayer Room; know that as soon as you make your Prayer request and Healing request, you will begin to see positive results!

STARGAZING FOR VIRGO 2013
September 5th New Moon in Virgo brings a time to move forward. You’re going to make some big changes in your life this month and your chances for success have doubled. Time to move in a new direction at work, with your health, and by helping others.
The September 19th Full Moon in Pisces brings a time when you could suffer a loss with love, money, or both. Stay sober, remain practical, and don’t make any unnecessary changes or take chances. Find a balance between staying practical and seeing the whole picture!

September brings the time to get your home in shape and brighten up the décor. Take care when working with tools or climbing ladders. Life is hectic and you are on the go, dashing here and there. Time management is your greatest challenge because it seems that everyone wants to talk or meet with you. Expect a high volume of calls and texts.

September opens with a burst of enthusiastic optimism, especially after the 9th. Set an ambitious agenda for your solar new year, Virgo. September makes you an attention getter Aquarius. Rewards come your way around the 18th-26th that could bring gains based on past performance. This month has its ups and downs. Pisces (2/19-3/20)
Plan a vacation, perhaps a long distance, for the end of the month. It’s time for learning, sampling another culture, or attending a company seminar.
