It’s time to get out the celebration fire works and tissue box as the same time. This first full week in the New Year of 2020 holds in it two Stargazing movements that will shake up and rock your world! Friday, January 10th is the Full Moon eclipse in Cancer and on Sunday, January 12th is the awaited conjunction of Saturn/Pluto in Capricorn, which can certainly stir up trouble. This second configuration happens only once every 34/35 years. Think back to 1982-84 and the famed Reaganomics.
Cancer is the mother, and a feminine sign. We closed 2019 with a solar eclipse in Cancer, and opened 2020 with a lunar eclipse in Cancer. This is certainly a celestial tip-off that 2020 with bring forward the feminine energies and feminine power. Women will be highlighted from the beginning to the end of 2020, for sure. We could get our first female vice president, and other female heads of state will be a focus in 2020. All signs indicate that this is a very important year for everyone because, since the karmic nodes have also moved into Cancer/Capricorn, we have new energy, a different focus and consciousness, as well as new opportunities that were not present before.
The rare triple alignment of Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto in Capricorn begins now. Actually, you could say it kicked off with the December 25/26 solar eclipse in Capricorn. This “restructure your life” combination goes on all year, and it officially begins on January 12th when Saturn aligns with Pluto. Decide what it is time to release with Pluto, as he is the let go and let Godplanet. Jupiter is the planet of luck and abundance, and brings opportunities that allow you to grow. Saturn makes any and all short-term sacrifices for the long term good. You will have to work hard to bring the full amount of the opportunities into your reality. Time to decide, what is your responsibility and what is no longer your responsibility? Warrior Mars moved into Sagittarius on January 3rd into mid-February. It is time to put ambitious effort into your big and expansive ideas and projects.
Then there is the lunar eclipse in Cancer on January 10th. The feminine energies always want to bring you your good, and a lunar eclipse is asking you to make necessary changes to open the door for the new energies to flow in. Also, Uranus wakes up from it’s five month retrograde on the same day as the eclipse. This will affect the two heavy duty planets on the 12th. It’s simple; say good-bye to whatever is necessary to move ahead. You can be nice, but firm however, stay strong, focused, and determined. It will all pay off in the long-term. The change that occurs will be life-altering with long reaching consequences.
On Monday, the 6th, the Moon is void-of-course all day. That means it is not great for initiating important new projects. It’s best to work with existing projects and introspective activities. However, Monday evening has the Sun and Neptune playing nicely together, so movies, romance, meditation or other spiritual activities are favored, or write that screen play. In fact, communications planet Mercury is making nice to Neptune as well, helping you to communicate a higher vision, opening your intuition, while expressing compassion and forgiveness.
The Full Moon on January 10th is a lunar eclipse. Part of this energy is to create a balance between your nurturing needs and your responsibilities. Another part is to look at your higher service to the world, while still attending to your personal life. There is one more set of Cancer and Capricorn eclipses coming this summer at the June Solstice, before going away for about nine years. Use that as a motivation to take care of all those close to home projects and issues because the tone is going to change dramatically in May and the pace of your outer world is going to increase.
Take advantage of this present time to get your house in order. Restructuring Saturn is moving into alignment with death and rebirth Pluto in the next few days; decide what it is you need to release.
The Moon moves into Leo on Saturday, so make room for some fun, creativity, or other activities that open your heart. If you have trouble sleeping Saturday night-Sunday the 12thearly morning, it is because mental Mercury is very active. It’s best to plan to meditate, listen to soft music, and quiet your mind before going to bed Saturday night.
Sunday is an interesting day. It begins with Mercury activity; lots of talk, restlessness, and moving quickly. Did you run or fly in your dreams last night? Saturn and Pluto align on Sunday as the first step in the triple energetic alignment in Capricorn going on all year. This calls you to let go of that which robs your power so you can step into new levels of your authority figure. Be clear about your boundaries and responsibilities. Don’t be afraid to appear to be the bad guy/girl if you need to move on from some relationship or aspect of your life and the people around you do not support it.
This large, slow moving transition highlights the stock market, world banking, government, and big business. It can bring a global conversion to virtual money, like crypto-currency, trade irregularities, economic downturns, along with the uncovering of corruption and misuse of power.
SIDE NOTE: This conjunction of Saturn/Pluto in Capricorn will have a polarizing effect on the US presidential race, between those who want things to stay the same and those who insist it’s time for the old ways to end. With Mercury smack dab in the middle, the impact is sure to be featured in the news media around the world.
