Stargazing — Week of November 5th through November 11th, 2018

Nov 5, 2018 | Monthly Astrology|Stargazing

The keyword for this week is transformation. It is equally important for you to look at what you already have and give gratitude. An intense New Moon, the most powerful one in 2018, and some trines as well as two sign changes are happening this first week in November.

Tuesday, November 6th brings us the mid-term elections day in the USA. Sensitivity is high and compassion for others in on the upswing. This energy also highlights artistic, creative talents and your inner spiritual beliefs. Also, Uranus retrogrades back into Aries for its last dance, which could have some kind of negative effect on the elections.

At the New Moon it’s time to see whether things need upgrading or improvement, especially around the time of the New Moon on

Wednesday the 7th. If you can upgrade or recycle something that has aged, then terrific, otherwise it’s time to discard it. As Jupiter leaves Scorpio, reflect on this past year and give appreciation to those who helped and supported you throughout the year. Mending relationships becomes important this week. Put the past behind you and move forward. Time to put your energies into relationships

that are working and feel meaningful and avoid the ones that don’t.

The New Moon on Nov. 7th also has you focusing on work and health issues. Sometimes its small changes that lead to big improvements such as adding a daily walk to your routine; do yoga or meditation and fins an affirmation that sets your day in an empowering and positive way. It also energizes your domestic life, making this a good time to redecorate your home or mend a relationship with a family member. Embrace your shadow, make a new start, and let go of what you no longer need.

Jupiter moves into its home sign of Sagittarius on Thursday, November 8th. Lucky Jupiter returns to its home base once every twelve years for twelve months. This energy brings with it happiness, gratitude, generosity and a strong sense of optimism. The energies encourage travel, higher education as well as highlighting sports and spiritual matters.

The downside of Jupiter in Sagittarius is that it can also bring over indulgence, weight gain, and spending that can go to the extremes. So easy does it everyone.

On Friday, November 9th we have the final Mars – Venus trine for 2018. These two planets are in air signs, and the same signs they were in last August, which can bring in another strong balance point for your one-on-one relationships.

With the Moon in Sagittarius for the weekend, getting out and celebrating, or perhaps going to the Veteran’s Day parade, brings a sense of warmth and comfort. Time to remember and thank so many of our soldiers who have done so much for us, our freedom, and this country.
