Your sense of direction will definitely be skewed! The Moon in scattered Gemini squares erratic and unpredictable Uranus on Monday and you’ll feel discombobulated as you go about your day. Your domestic side will kick in when the Sun enters your home zone on Tuesday. You’ll feel the urge to stay in your own backyard for a change. You will find it hard to be realistic when your ruler, Venus, squares nebulous Neptune on Friday. You won’t take a practical view of your life circumstances, so it might be a good idea to leave problem solving for a later time. On Sunday your sense of positive optimism will return. A friend may invite you to be part of his or her sports team.

Your Love Week—Air Signs: After a social weekend or not enough quality time with your partner, Monday’s focus is home and heart when the Moon enters Cancer and opposes Pluto. Your Love Week—Water Signs:

If you have apologies to extend, Water Signs, this is definitely the week to do it. Monday’s New Moon will plant a seed of new beginnings for you. There is a crew of planets gathered that are nothing if not tender and compassionate, and along with your innate empathy, there’s really nothing you won’t do now for someone you love, or for a complete stranger, in fact. They’ve been holding court in your energy field of lovers, and while Venus has already moved on, Uranus, the Sun, and Mercury will stay behind at least for the beginning of this week. On February 7th below is what I posted as the Academy Award Winners — however I sense there will be a slight change – although I stlll feel a possible tie with Sandra and Merel, Sandra has the edge because this may be her only nomination ever, and Merel will be back next year, and the next, with possible nominations. The change I see is Best Director. I sense that Avatar and James Cameron will be passed over. You know that this award is more political than not. I announced with the Cancer Eclipse on New Year’s Eve that this is the year for women. Kathryn Bigelow may be the FIRST woman ever to win Best Director, and her film The Hurt Locker will take Best Picture. By tomorrow morning we’ll know how close I came when I projected these wins the day they announced the nominees.

It doesn’t happen often, but a tie is “allowed” at the Oscars.

The 1968 Oscar awards ceremony was noteable for producing the only tie in votes for Best Actress, resulting in 2 female acting Oscar awards for Best Actress being presented. The tie for Best Actress occurred between KATHERINE HEPBURN (for “The Lion In Winter“) and BARBARA STREISAND (for “Funny Girl“).

The only other tie in votes for acting occurred in the 1931/2 awards season (some five years before separate Oscars were created for supporting roles). The 1931/2 tie occurred between FREDERICK MARCH (for “Dr.Jekyll And Mr.Hyde“) and WALLACE BEERY (for “The Champ“).
