Looking into the Future

We are approaching the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend in the USA. Many of you can already feel an energetic build up that tells you things must change in your life. The just have to — and they will over the next five to six months. Be aware that the process may seem a bit slow because Mercury turns retrograde on Thanksgiving Day for three weeks, through December 13th. We approach the storm of Mercury on the 18th. Now, here’s the good news!

November begins the time of exaltation – and we will finally know the benefits – and powerful – positive change for the next two-and-one-half years. All of this energy comes in before the coming eclipses – beginning on the 26th, which will set things into place.

This new – positive energy represents the masses, and the general conditions of the world population will improve. The ongoing worldwide recession and financial woes will give way to some stability and financial prosperity for the common public rather than the banks and financial institutions.

The economies in the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, and Western Europe will have a recovery. They can do very well if the new people are smart – and work for the benefit of all concerned.

As the year winds down, the time has come to start thinking about what the new year will bring. You’ve heard about the 2012 doomsday predictions; I am confident that 2012 is not a year of endings, but a year of new beginnings. However, radical changes will be coming your way as Uranus and Pluto start to shake up every part of your life, as well as the world. Combined with major planetary moves from opportunity-driven Jupiter, the changed North Nodes, and karmic Saturn, knowledge is your most powerful tool as you step into 2012.

This is a very powerful week for creating your future, in all ways. On Wednesday the 9th, Neptune ends its re-visioning period (since early June), and this means that you can move out of what Mark Dodich calls “brain fog” to get clarity on future steps. Mars enters Virgo on November 10th and will not leave until July 3rd. Mars is ambitious and Virgo is a hard worker. This will be more intense in January, 2012, but start thinking how you need to simplify your life, clear your clutter, and think about getting organized. The lesson is to go to the very depths of your being and look at the shadow side of yourself. Are there hidden aspects of your psyche that are getting in your way? The Opossum greatest form of protection is to roll over and play dead. In doing this, Opossum confuses many a predator into believing that the game is over. Oftentimes the confused rival walks away or looks in the other direction for a moment, and the Opossum runs to safety.

Opossum medicine uses a great deal of strategy. If all else fails, Opossum plays dead. It has the ability to fight with its claws and teeth, but rarely uses this form of protection. Instead, the supreme strategy of diversion is constantly employed when things get a little hard to handle. Opossum has developed an act that would receive the Academy Award in the animal kingdom. The musk of the death scent is excreted as well, adding to the master play that sends enemies on many trails of confusion.

As Opossum has turned up for the vibration of November 2011, you are being asked to use some form of strategy in a present situation. Rely upon your instincts for the best way out of a tight corner. If you have to pretend to be apathetic or unafraid, do it! Oftentimes if you refuse to struggle or show that hurtful words bother you, your taunter will see no further fun to the game. THE WEEKLY INFLUENCE

We are in a highly unstable time – because of the opposition of electric and unpredictable Uranus to the Sun as well as its opposition to Mercury. Adaptability and going with the flow is a must because this week will not go along according to plan.
