From the 8th February 2012 through mid-June we can expect natural calamities, fire, aggression, higher crime rate, and major error of judgments in politics.

Europe, Japan, South East Asia could be the hotbed of some difficult economic and political situations. China and North Korea offer some kind of threats to the Western world. Could be financial.

As predicted last August, Hillary will begin to distance herself from Obama, and resign from being Secretary of State. Joe Biden wants the job, but it will elude him.

Michele Obama and Angelina Jolie will deliver their babies in the same month – late this summer. Brad and Angelina will finally tie the knot — quietly, if possible.

The OWN Network will fail after Rosie O’Donnel’s show goes belly up due to low ratings. This was such an ambitious project for Oprah, but just had poor timing. Better to put all this money into helping children with getting a good education.

Johnny Depp and his longtime love Vanessa Paradise with break up and soon after Johnny will be seen with his new lady love – an young and famous starlite.

Donald Trump is placed as either Vice President or Chief of Staff with the Republican Party.

George Clooney loves to direct and act in movies but his new love just may be politics, as he runs for the Senate.

POLITICAL

The US Election in November will be a close call but Barack Obama will fall from power. The US economy and financial losses worldwide will be his downfall.

Not only will Obama not win the election – I am feeling that for some reason he may not even be on the ticket. If he is – Hillary Clinton will be his running mate. Joe Biden will be offered a cabinet position. If Hillary runs for President – she will win in a landslide.

President Barack Obama will face conservative Republican, Mitt Romney as the US Presidential choice. Vice presidents are Hillary Clinton and Meg Whitman (current president and CEO of Hewlitt Packard.)

In 2012 between the months of January — March there will be panic in countries like the US, UK, Spain, France, Egypt, Russia, and China due to hostilities among its citizens for greater political and financial reforms. Most of these protests will pick up speed after August of 2012.

Race riots with looting and many arrests will follow the election results.

In 2012 The U.S. will be involved in another war, this time with Israel, Russia and Iran.

A top-secret “hit squad” will begin assassinations worldwide on targeted public figures that will appear as accidents, suicides etc. without anyone realizing what has happened.

An Iranian revolution occurs in 2012. Spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are removed from power.

Japan receives threats from China and a partial naval blockade will be put in place.

Mexico enjoys a truce between the government and cartels after President Felipe Calderón leaves office in 2012—perhaps in the summer months.

Facing a tough election fight in four months, French President Nicolas Sarkozy faces the threat of an assassination attempt while he is traveling away from France.

South Africa will continue to prosper after the discovery of a major new gold/diamond mine and China will be pushed out of the region. South Africa will flourish and many will buy second homes there.

The US Postal service will continue to fail in 2012. They will start contracting with other service carriers like UPS, FedEx, and local services to deliver mail and packages to save money. Expect junk mail, junk mail, junk mail, and some post office closures.

WEATHER

FIRST expected is a severe problem along the California coastline as the plates slip and move deep in the Pacific Ocean. Tsunamis and earthquakes can b expected- very soon.

Ecological disaster and rising sea levels in 2012. This is the year of the Water Dragon, so water we will have major flooding. Thousands will have to move to higher ground as the Mississippi and Missouri Rives merge together – once and for all.

2012 will be one of the hottest summers on record in the Western part of the US.

Jet planes and space launches will be blamed for destroying the ozone layer in 2012.

There will be great floods in Japan, China and the Gulf Coast again, due to massive amounts of rain. New Orleans will flood again as well, due to unruly hurricanes and storms. The country of Japan may go underwater completely.

Naples, Italy is evacuated after serious eruption of Vesuvius. Lava flows in a different direction than expected and the Pompeii ruins are not lost.

This will be the wettest year on record around the world.

Across the world there will be strange weather patterns with NO consistency. Extreme cold where unusual, many measured snowfalls, rain heavy where not usual, drought in other wet areas, extreme weather and disruptions across the world. The globe will experience harsh weather patterns that will break current statistics in 2012. The Scandinavian countries begin to ice over in parts.

MEDICAL and TECHNOLOGY

People will go to holistic healers; Energy healing has all the positive energies to heal. We will be taking more natural medications and no more medications from doctors. The pharmaceutical companies will want to fight this trend and instill laws banning taking vitamins and minerals without a prescription.

People will be airing their dirty laundry, gossip, and jealousy on the computer and texting services. This way they feel they will have a constant audience. A new term will be “cyber lawsuits.”

Apple unveils it TV Internet combo, but it won’t be what it’s cracked up to be. The stock falls – more research and work has to be done.

2012 will be a good year for ship and boat manufacturers as water travel becomes more common and the demand for ships, crafts, and boats will increase.

In 2012 there is a Backlash from flu vaccines. There is possible danger to health of those that have taken the vaccine, not necessarily the flu, but strange organ breakdowns.

A conflict or battle in outer space will occur this year between two countries, most likely involving Russia or China.

Oil doubles in price causing travel to become prohibitive – no vacationers in many summer resorts.

A large comet enters the earth’s atmosphere and crashes into the Pacific Ocean. This will become a television spectacular! The impact of the comet causes flooding of the California coastline.

STARS FOR THE STARS

Possible unexpected deaths include:  Henry Kissenger, Barbara Walters, Joan Rivers and Lindsay Lohan. There is another tragic death in the Michael Jackson family.

A son is born to Prince William and Kate in the fall of 2012.

Pope Benedict XVI will pass away in 2012 and his death will be questioned.

Sally Kirkland and ex Nick Nolte get back together much to the surprise of his current sweetie.

Angelina and Brad do a new movie together, he acts, she directs, that meet fair reviews.

Elizabeth Taylor’s children search for the out of wedlock daughter she had. Norah, the child Elizabeth gave up, is located.

I’ve been humming Harry Connick Jr. songs. Harry starts a wonderful cycle of big hits. His Movies are around the corner!

Gayle King leaves the waffling OPN for another cable channel away from Oprah. Good results for Ms. King, but it creates bitterness for Oprah.

PREDICTIONS

In the Year of the Dragon – the Dragon takes what it deserves.

2012 will not be the end of the planet or the Solar System. The December 21st date will come and go without incident.

There is always a disaster/tragedy as we enter the Chinese Year of the Dragon  (Jan. 23rd, 2012) and a tragedy as we exit the year (Feb. 2013.)

There is an earth-shattering event involving everyone on the planet in 2012 – perhaps in the first half of the year, sooner than later. Has to do with weather patterns and outer space. Timing can be difficult. This leads to a deep spiritual awakening after a global tragedy.

The corporations and powerful families that have brought pain, hardship and misery to others will lose power and fall away. Expect to see the following corporation doors close forever.   Sears, Sony Pictures, K-Mart, Stuart and A&W Drinks, T-Mobile, Kellog – many of their cereals.

An aborted space launch causes high altitude explosions that knock out many communications satellites. This may take a few months to fix. Ideally there should be another replacement satellite ready to launch – but this has not been followed through on because many people refuse to believe a disturbance of the current one is possible.

Food Shortages expected in 2012 and 2013. Russian and American grain harvests will be poor and suffer loss due to weather conditions. This will not be catastrophic but will affect world food prices. Food shortages bring protests and change of government rulership.

Banks: More People will be forgiven for their mortgage loans and will be able to forgo foreclosures so they can get back on their feet.

Stocks plummet in the first few months, based on the failing Euro – and then grow again throughout 2012. Don’t sell and run scared, hold tight to what you can. Stem cell research will be the best buy for long term stocks.

There will be less children born in 2012. Couples will get pets because they take less care and responsibility.

The government will admit that we do have contact with other beings in other dimensions. Our Invisible helpers.

China falls from grace and their money system begins to collapse. Expect major changes with China, North and South Korea. Politically, they could join together and form a strong ally in Asia.

Christianity will make a big comeback, as people flock to churches for spiritual enlightenment and guidance from God.

In mid-2012 Marijuana will be legalized.

Montana is in the news because they are changing the state laws to reflect a unity and community responsibility. Thousands will move there and Montana will set an example of the future lifestyle of oneness.

A trend will emerge as many people move from cities and urban suburbs to smaller and more communal villages.

There will be a new kind of charity – help those in your town and community. Each working person in the U.S. will be asked to take in another person. Each person will also be required to cut back their consumption of energy, food, water, and other amenities due to overpopulation.  At first it will be “suggested,” through a mass marketing campaign, and later it will become mandatory. A strong message about birth control will be issued. The Catholic Church will comply and promote this change. This change has already been requested from the MA Center in Kerala, India.

There are obligations to be met which you cannot rightly escape, and much work to accomplish, both inside the home and out in the business world. Consider your problem with regard to your future freedom. Use your head and plan well. Changes are impending and even though connected with some confusion, they are necessary for progress. You may feel a deep inner struggle; that you have been placed in the wrong light, or are limited financially. Guard your disposition and be thankful that you are relieved now of some of the duties of last month. Find time for rest, physically, look after your diet and take care of your health. You know that worry will gain you nothing. It only creates stress and strain on the body and mind. Relief will come, unexpectedly, to help you do what is necessary. But, through lack of self-control, use of temper, or quarrelsome methods, you could make some mistakes and delay the good will that is running through this year. This is very important right now. Stop, look, think, meditate and talk things over with your Higher Self. If you think things out to a logical conclusion, and do not be emotional, then this will be a good month.

Personal Six Year:
Flowers, flowers, flowers. The buds now bloom on the rose. Your business prospers and you work hard. This is a year of family duty and responsibility. You may need to care for someone who is ill, quiet others, and make matters clear. Also, watch your health. You are now in the upward climb of your present nine-year cycle. The results of your efforts, work application and planning should begin to present themselves. A great deal of attention should be given to the ways and means by which your results may be attained. This will depend upon how you approach the work with others. Service is the keynote to results in every way and in everything you do. The Number Six Personal Year is your duty year and you should keep this in mind throughout the year. Try to make all responsibility interesting to yourself, and the demands upon you, a privilege instead of a requirement. FEBRUARY
This month you will be very busy as business and money management call for organization and efficiency. You will find help or assistance coming your way and you have a great deal to consider regarding houses and property. There will be much expense, but this will be managed and friends and associates will be very helpful to you. A lot of inspiration and fun can come from this activity even though there is much to do. This is a result of the planning of last month. Do not be extravagant now, for there is a lot of money that will need to be spent during the year, and you should keep your eye on expenses and your budget. You could have a strong impulse to throw common sense to the winds. It is alright to indulge in moments of granduer now and then, but on the whole, the year is slow moving, with many demands for time and money. You will need patience and executive judgment based upon experience, past knowledge, and the true value and worth of the things you desire and dream about. Right now, however, you are going to be very busy, and there is the possibility of a business trip as well as the meeting of old friends.

Personal Seven Year:

Faith is required of you as well as inner development. This is your year of solitude, spiritual awareness and soul growth. You could obtain a high office or get married. Help others forget their troubles. It is a most important time for self-awareness. Down through the ages the number seven has been associated with the occult, spiritual and mystical. However, it is often called the <i>lucky seven</i> in relationship to material interests and activities, symbolizing the unexpected. This is one of the most important months of the year because it brings so many things to a head This may not be so apparent outwardly, for right now what you are thinking, and what you want for yourself will influence your actions, and you should make an effort to think clearly and not allow yourself to be mentally confused or out of sorts. The Number Seven Personal Year is a sabbatical year, and some of your tasks, relationships, and duties must change or even be finished, through your own actions and through outside conditions. Only in this way can you eventually find the time to be more alone to read, study, or take up new mental or spiritual interests. So if you find you are more alone now and from now on this year, or that something is finished and you have little to do with what others are doing, do not mind or consider it a problem or annoyance. Just be glad that so much has been accomplished and that past duties have been completed. ARCHANGELS

There are different types of angels depicted in the bible that have varying degrees of divine missions, different names and descriptions. First of all, they are said to be messengers of God. Chreubim, Seraphim, and Archangels.

Protectors of nations and principalities, these angels also protect humans. The word “archangel” is not found in the Old Testament.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel and with the triumph of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. (1 Thess. 4:16)

St. Michael

St. Michael the Archangel appears as a warrior angel, with legions of angels under his command, (in 1 Thes. 4:16 and Jude 9). Michael is said to be the defender angel who goes to battle. ( Daniel 10:13, 21; and 12:1. Also in Romans 8:38, Eph 1:21 and Col 1:16)

Gabriel is the Archangel of Enunciation in Daniel. (8:5-26 and 9:21-27). Gabriel also appears in Luke 1-11 – Zechariah was in the sanctuary when an angel of the Lord appeared, standing to the right of the incense altar. Then the angel said, “I am Gabriel! I stand in the very presence of God. It was he who sent me to bring you this good news!

Raphael is the Healing Archangel. Many nurses and physicians claim this angel has guided them.

Uriel-Archangel of Death who was also thought to be the angel of transformation, and is believed to be standing by people on the verge of death.

Who are our Guardian Angels?

No evil shall befall you, nor shall affliction come near your tent, for to His Angels God has given command about you, that they guard you in all your ways. Upon their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

Angels helps us to know, as we react to everyday upsets or joys, that love, kindness and peace abide, and our reactions show our ability to love, understand, find compassion and grow.

God has charged His angels with the ministry of watching and safeguarding every one of His creatures that behold not His face. Kingdoms have their angels assigned to them, and men have their angels; these latter it is to whom religion designates the Holy Guardian Angels. Our Lord says in the Gospel, “Beware lest ye scandalize any of these little ones, for their angels in heaven see the face of My Father.” The existence of Guardian Angels is real and requires our respect be for that sure and holy intelligence that is ever present at our side; and how great our solicitude be, lest, by any act of ours, we offend those eyes which are ever bent upon us in all our ways.

Angels offer unconditional love – they set no rules, no standards to be fulfilled. Angels are here for us this instant, loving and guiding, giving us the support we need to move onwards and upwards towards spiritual enlightenment.

Angels are beings of light, and their messages glow with God. Sometimes they don’t even have to say anything, but their presence alone communicates clearly the love and protection of God.

Angels will protect us from ourselves as we want and request. When we take the time to meditate and pray, and ask for guidance and support, it is always received.

How can your guardian angels help you?

Your spiritual helpers are there to back you in your relationships with other people. We come in alone and we leave alone, but you can have tremendous communication with others throughout our life. Praying for abundance and wealth of happiness is not the same as praying to be rich or wealthy. Just know that you are a child of God and all your needs are met on a daily basis, and all will be well in your world.

Angel consciousness is the awareness that you are a Divine being, and that you are guided by a higher wisdom in the Universe that operates for your greatest good. The people who receive your Angel Prayer will feel it on a deep level. They will know of and appreciate your thoughts. Perhaps then you will hear and enjoy the music of the spheres.

The Sun has entered AQUARIUS

Fun, friendship, learning, and people are all featured in 2012. Later in the year you’ll take the first steps towards a new career and achievements. Money and creativity are also themes for 2012. A lucky break mid-summer could bring you a small windfall.

2012 began with Jupiter in Taurus through June. This positive influence is great for home improvement, memorable times with family, and entertaining friends. Most of all, you’ll simply enjoy being home, where you can relax in comfort and be yourself. Be wary though, because Jupiter is the planet of expansion so it will be all too easy to spend freely on a wide variety of things for your home. You may not really need most of them as much a you’ll want to have them.  Establish a budget and take the time to organize your space. Eliminate clutter and sell or donate that which you no longer need. Take the plunge in May, when it will be much easier to let go of unwanted items.

Jupiter moves into Gemini on June 11th, where it remains until mid-2013. During this time your focus will switch from the home to socializing, leisure-time interests, hobbies, and sports. If you’re a parent you will create some fond moments with your children if you emphasize quality time instead of indulging in your desire to spoil them with gifts and “stuff.” A nearby location will be more desirable for a summer vacation.

You will want to travel, study philosophy, and perhaps manage some legal matters. Meditation is a good outlet for this energy as you review the past and explore your spirituality. You are encouraged to refine your beliefs so they better reflect your individuality and the person you are today. This may mean stepping away from some of your childhood and family traditions. You also could gain a new perspective through travel and exposure to other cultures.

Consider taking a class to boost your career skills or complete the program you began two years ago, at the beginning of this cycle. The knowledge gained will pay off when Saturn changes signs on October 5, 2012. This can become a lie pinnacle, a step that reaffirms all the effort you’ve invested in your career during the past fourteen years. It could be 2013 before you see the gains, but you could get that raise after Saturn enters Scorpio.

Meeting and getting to know the right people is important in 2012. Target those who can speed you up the ladder and then let them see you at you best. Take responsibility for all you do and go out of your way to turn out high-quality work, day after day. Remember, Saturn cycles rewards a solid effort.

Everything gets triggered this year, Aquarius, from surprising news to flashes of insight. You will be involved with siblings, your oldest son, neighbors, cousins, and quick trips. Life will be full of the unexpected in 2012, and at times you will find yourself dashing off for the day, the weekend, or just a few hours in order to satisfy your need for a change of scenery. There will be a challenge with  money at times because money can disappear, as if into thin air. For all these reasons, in 2012 it is important for you to establish a budget and keep within it. Don;t expect to pull out of difficulties you may have created all of the time. February brings some great family talks and open, honest sharing. You can make progress on home improvements or routine tasks. You may even find a loved but lost and forgotten item while digging through boxes. Drive with extra care with morning and evening commutes.

Sagittarius (11/23-12/21)

Family ties are focused on for February. Plan some fun activities, but also connect with relatives who appreciate hearing from you. Host some get-togethers with friends at month’s end.

Capricorn (12/22-1/19)

February brings time for a quick trip to visit a friend or loved one. This will refresh your spirit and provide a nice break from everyday stress. Use your charm on any stubborn family member or co-worker. It works!

Aquarius (1/20-2/18)

The more you meditate and listen, the stronger your intuition will become. Neptune moves into Pisces on February 3rd ending a fourteen year cycle. Where were you in late 1998? Are you happy with the decisions you made at that time because they are up for review. This Neptune transit has not been around for 165 years (except for a short teaser last April to August 2011), and will be with us for the next 14 years. This combination will help you open to your intuition, spirituality, along with the portal to the Fifth Dimension energies. Of course, it will also burst any illusions you are holding onto. The truth comes out with romance, finances, responsibilities, and tells you if you’re gong in the wrong direction. You can’t become enlightened if you are living in illusions! Relationship planet Venus moves into Aries late on the 7th, then aligns with Uranus on the 9th. This presents an opportunity to meet new friends, explore new relationship opportunities, both business, friendship, and personal.

February 2012 begins with lots of talk. Concentrate on short, quick projects this week rather than trying to accomplish heavy, research projects. However, keep moving. The New Moon in Aquarius on Sunday the 22nd brings the energy of exploring new opportunities in the month ahead. So get out of your comfortable rut and let the eccentric part of you come out.

The New Moon itself sets up a challenging pattern called a T-Square An Aquarius New Moon is good for expanding your circle of friends or exploring new groups, ideas, or changing aspirations. The challenge the New Moon makes is to Jupiter, which wants to expand in a large way, and Saturn with wants slow-but-sure changes. Find your balance between these two polarities or you are likely to find yourself in hurry up and wait situation.

Mars turns retrograde in Virgo on the 23rd and continues through April 13th. Pay attention to any anger or annoyance/impatience issues that come up for you now. You have the opportunity to cleanse and heal whatever that is stuck in your craw. Of course, this also presents to re-organize your life on many different levels.

Mars traveling retrograde in Virgo will continue to do so through April 14th. Of all the planets that turn retrograde, Mars may be the most difficult to work with because the planet’s nature is to move forward, and fast! While Mars is in Virgo your pets, work, and service to others is emphasized. You may become aware of flaws, shortcomings, special health needs, or frustrated because people or things are not perfect. If this happens, be sure not to criticize or turn your anger inward. Instead, take an honest look at how you handle challenges, anger, and new beginnings. Figure out what you need to do to improve yourself and your life. Then, when Mars returns to its direct motion, you can implement the changes.

When the Chinese New Year rolls around on January 23rd, you’ll probably quickly notice the quick shift because Rabbit’s tendency was to bolt at the first sign of trouble and is now replaced by Dragon’s courageous self-confidence. The year of the Water Dragon, brings a free-spirited energy which does not like to be held down. It represents an enthusiastic do-it-big year, so is a good time to review your ambitions. Just expect lots of rain, flooding, and some surprising water situations all year. Remember, the Dragon comes in and takes exactly what is his—no less, no more!

MEDITATION

There comes a time when you seek to comprehend the true meaning of PEACE, and how you as an individual may find that peace, a peace which the world can neither give you nor take from you.

This is one way. Visualize the blazing Star, still, as yet full of life and light. Identify yourself with the Star, with the center of that Star. Allow your energies to go into the still center of that Star. Within that center you will find that all the anxieties of material life, all the struggles that you encounter in daily life, will fall away from you. In the heart of the Star is deep, eternal peace, and within this peace you are united with those whom you love.

On a daily basis give yourself time to enter this Star Temple, this calming scene. Go into it, away from the noise and turmoil, confusion, fears and anxieties of the material plane. There, within the center of this Star, find divine, holy peace. Hear within your Soul the music of the heavenly spheres, the music of the Holy Word, the audible life-stream which flows from the heart of the Creator.

Be still now, within your mind and body. Listen inwardly. Beneath all sound, beneath all thought, in the deep silence at the heart of creation, you will hear the harmony of God.

The Sun has entered AQUARIUS

For some time, Aquarians, your life has been a long work in progress. The planets indicate that this phase of under construction will come to an end this year, and the completions bring you financial gain and security. Although you have faced many challenges or made monumental changes in many parts of your life over the past two years, there is more action and drama ahead, leading up to a hard-working and forceful change of energies in the fall of 2012, as Saturn again changes signs and goes into Scorpio. Some of these important changes of Fate are just around your Stargazing corner.

You are looking good this month, and this will be reflected in the amount of attention you receive from others. Use this time to smooth over past disagreements and avoid potential conflicts, as well as mediate the disputes of others.

You have been trying to open up your financial frontiers to new sources of income, and after the February 21st New Moon passes, you will be welling up with ideas you are anxious to try. The scary part is letting go of the old tried and true ways of earning money. ANIMAL—ELK

Elk

Elk…
Your antlers reach for the Sun,
Show me that strength,
And stamina are one.

Elk wandered through the forest looking for a partner. The mating season was in full swing, and the bucks that usually traveled with the other males had dispersed to find mates for the season. As Elk bellowed his mating call through the forest, his bugling alerted Mountain Lion that a feast could be in the making.

Mountain Lion circled Elk, getting closer to his prey moment by moment. Elk sensed the impending danger when the forest grew suddenly silent. He broke for the high country when he spotted his pursuer, but Mountain Lion was not far behind. As Elk made a running leap for the timberline, Mountain Lion gained on him, but Elk continued to run onward, displaying tremendous stamina. Finally Mountain Lion gave up, having spent his energy in spurts, as he tried to jump over boulders to reach Elk. Elk paced himself, making headway as he climbed skyward toward the high country. Elk had no other defense except for his ability to go the distance, setting a pace that allowed him to utilize his stamina and energy to the fullest.

Elk medicine teaches that pacing yourself will increase your stamina. Elk medicine people may not be the first ones to arrive at a goal, but they always arrive without getting burned out. If you have taken on too much recently, it might be a good idea to look at how you plan to finish what you have started without ending up in the hospital.

Elk have a curious kind of warrior energy because, except at mating time, they honor the company of their own gender. They can call on the medicine of brotherhood or sisterhood. In discovering the strength which is gained from loving the gender that is your own, you will feel the comradeship that arises from the similarity of experience. This is a special medicine that allows the friendship of others of your same sex to overcome potential competition or jealousy.

Elk has arrived on the scene for February, 2012. It may be telling you to seek to company of you own gender for awhile. You may need a support group to realign yourself with the stamina of the warrior/ warrioress that you are a part of. This communication with others of your own sex allows you to air your feelings in safety and to get feedback from others who have had the same experiences. You may need a new sense of community, which brings communication in unity.

Elk could be telling you to look at how you are holding up physically to the stresses in your life, and to pace yourself so that you maintain an equilibrium of energy over the distance you plan to cover. Vitamins or high-energy foods may be one source of strength, along with some personal quiet time and meditation for replenishment. You might be forcing yourself and stretching yourself thin, like a rubber band, to the breaking point. Be careful of undue stress levels, or you might just create an illness to force you to take a very necessary break. The Winter Season brings a stress of its own, so this could be double trouble if you are not careful.

On the other hand you may not be honoring your desire for companionship with the opposite sex, and you may have forgotten the excitement of the mating season. If this is the case, you may find that your best option is to invite friends of the opposite sex over for dinner, or an afternoon outing. This is not to say that you would be sexually interested in these friends, it is merely a suggestion that an exchange of opposite energies could be rewarding.

If you are in a relationship or marriage, it may be that the “honeymoon” is waning and that you need to stir up some excitement. Persistently creating a “change of pace” is the kind of stamina needed for any relationship to last.

In all cases, Elk is telling you to look at how you choose to create your present pathway, and how you intend to perpetuate it to reach your goal. Your best weapon is the same as Elk’s. Stop when you need to, persist when you need to, and allow room for change and the exchange of energies.

Separation—Inheritance

Othila represents real property, acquisition and benefits. It seems strange to say, but the benefits you receive, the inheritance may be derived from something you must give up. This can be particularly difficult when that which you are called upon to give up or abandon is part of your background and your cultural inheritance. For then you must look closely at what, until now, you have proudly claimed as your birthright. Whether it is your attachment to your position in society, to the work you do, or even the beliefs about your own nature, the separation called for now will free you to become more truly who you are.

Othila is the Rune of the separating of paths. Old skins must be shed, outmoded relationships discarded. This Rune has appeared in Aquarius energies for February 2012. A peeling away is now called for. This is the Rune of radical service!

The proper action here is submission, and, quite probably, retreat. Retreat in the sense of reserve in your conduct; for knowing when to leave may be the smartest thing that anyone can learn. Know when to retreat, and have the firmness of character to carry it out.

Take pains not to be mechanical or unaware of what is happening around you. This is not a time to be bound by old conditions and old authority. When going through changes, release and letting go, ask yourself what feels right for you and act according to the Light and inner direction you possess now in your life. Because you may be called upon to undertake a radical departure from old ways, total honesty is required. Otherwise, through negligence or refusal to see clearly, you may cause pain to others as well as damage to yourself.

Not rigidity but flow is the proper attitude at this time. And yet you must wait for the universe to act. Othila‚ February’s Rune, reminds us that we do without doing, and everything gets done.
